My daughters bedroom: an update!

My daughters bedroom: an update!

hello friends! Today I want to share a little update to my daughter’s bedroom… and it was super thrifty too!

She doesn’t really play much in her bedroom and honestly, I don’t blame her. The carpet is scratchy and she had an old dollhouse on the floor that she had drawn all over with pen when she was two years old. Honestly, she just wasn’t into it!

The first thing we did was we got a new playmat rug from Ruggable which honestly, was a game changer. It’s soft and cushioned, completely wipe clean and a great size to fit 2-3 people on playing. Plus it looks cute!

Next up, I had a super lucky find at my local dump shop. This adorable dressing table was just £3 and it was made of wood and oh-so-cute! Between the new rug and the dressing table… I knew we were in business!

She loves playing with toy make up and jewellery, so it’s the perfect addition to her bedroom and honestly, so much cuter than the crusty old dollhouse which she never played with!

It just goes to show… the dump shop is a treasure trove and you don’t have to spend a fortune to create your kids dream room.

Let me know what you think of it! I’d love your thoughts and if you have anything you’d add, fill me in!
