Where to buy stuff for vinted reselling
hello friends! Today I want to share Where to buy stuff for vinted reselling. As you might know, I do a lot of reselling on the side.
charity shops
Let’s not dwell on this one for too long because it’s pretty obvious, But charity shops are a great place to buy your stock to resell. My best advice, is to go in frequently, don’t limit yourself to ‘rich’ areas
carboot sales
Another obvious one, but carboot sales are a brilliant place to buy your vinted stock. I would recommend you get there super early if you want the good stuff and take plenty of cash. You can get some great items and it’s generally really cheap. However, they tend to be seasonal so whilst they are amazing in the summer months, you can rely on them all year round.
Vinted
No joke, a lot of vinted sellers source their stock on vinted. It’s pretty depressing to be honest. I’ve sold items to people on there and been really annoyed when they relisted it for double the following week. It’s my own fault for keeping my prices affordable but I’m just flagging it up. A lot of vinted sellers buy their stock on vinted. Either looking for stock that’s listed cheap or buying in bundles and splitting it up. Like if someone is selling 10 necklaces as a job lot they will buy them and sell them separately. A bit boring if you ask me, but it’s a thing.
tilt – get £10 free shopping credit
Next up! A lot of vinted sellers buy their stock on tilt. This is a live auction app where sellers will do a stream and sell like 100 items in an hour or two and the prices can be pretty cheap. So if you are willing to get bidding, you can get some bargains and list them on vinted. I’ve had coach handbags for £1 and sold them for £30 on vinted. whatnot – get £25 free shopping credit
Whatnot is a lot like tilt and it’s again brilliant for buying lots of stock to resell for a big profit. My friend recently bought a necklace for £6 and resold it on eBay for £89! Bonkers!!! fleek – get £26 off your first order
fleek is amazing for buying bundles of stock to resell. It’s basically a place which connects vintage wholesale companies with resellers and it’s amazing! I’ve made a small fortune from buying from fleek to resell on vinted, in fact, I placed my latest order on fleek this morning! Here’s my code RFD-FASHIONFORLUNCH
Trust me! Fleek is amazing!
tk maxx – clearance
This is something I’ve never personally done but I know others make a fortune from it. The sale at TK maxx can be pretty major, so loads of people buy stock at TK maxx to resell on vinted… but the big profits come when you buy in their clearance section. They have items SO cheap and it can be a major money maker for people. But it’s only at some times of the year and you have to swoop in fast!!!
