This is the Annual Brit collection and it is always inspired by an element of British summer life, this year, they have taken inspiration from the humble vegetable patch. As a gardener myself, you know this collection has brought me a lot of joy and I’m so excited to share it with you! Let’s chat!

- Three new limited edition colognes
- Each houses in a limited edition bottle
- Also in the collection is a Tomato Lead hand wash, Green Tomato Vine candle (in a 75g pot and 300g pot) and a Green Tomato Vine Diffuser.

Jo Malone London ‘Velvety Butternut’ smells like
Contains notes of : Butternut, Tonka Bean, Patchouli
Whilst I love all the fragrances in this collection, without doubt, the Velvety Butternut is my favourite! It’s a warm, nutty, summery gourmand. It smells slightly sweet with the tonka bean, earthy with the patchouli and wonderfully creamy and nutty with the butternut. There’s also a real solar note in there, which is unusual for a gourmand but really brightens the fragrance up! It doesn’t smell like butternut squashes, but it has the freshness, nuttiness and the smoothness of a butternut squash, and it’s truly an enchanting and unique fragrance. Absolutely stunning!
Jo Malone London ‘Scarlet Beetroot’ smells like
Contains notes of : Beetroot, Blackcurrant, Patchouli
This is the fragrance of the collection which I think smells the most literal. You really can smell the distinctive earthiness of the beetroot combined with the juicy fruit of the blackcurrant. The earthy base combines beautifully with the beetroot and I might be wrong, but I think there’s a hint of rose in this perfume too. It’s playful, fresh, nostalgic and elegant.
Jo Malone London ‘Carrot Blossom’ smells like
Contains notes of : Fennel, Sweet carrot, Orange Flower, White Musk
Finally, Carrot Blossom, this is the fragrance which I think is the most unisex. It reminds me a lot of Wood Sage & Seasalt because it has a bit of a ‘no-fragrance-fragrance’ feel to it. It’s dewy, herbaceous, slightly floral, slightly earthy and fresh. Whilst it doesn’t smell like carrots, it does have a sensory feeling of carrots with the herby carrot tops, the slight sweetness and the orange flower really conjures the colour orange which combined with the earthy notes makes you think of carrots. It’s fresh, subtle and ethereal.
