You’ll never guess how much I paid for this coach signature crossbody bag!

I’m so happy with this bag, it’s perfect for the autumn / winter months as a casual crossbody bag to wear every day to run errands. It’s roomy, lightweight, stylish and generally just a great every day bag… oh and it was a bargain of a price! Let’s chat!!!
Y2K coach signature crossbody bag!
This style of coach bag was popular in the Y2K era and has since been discontinued. They still produce monogram handbags, but not this silhouette. Where I bought this bag!
I bought this bag on the live auction site tilt and I got super lucky with the price. I found a seller on there who specialises in buying vintage, preloved coach bags, most of which are from the Y2K era. I think I bought this at the very end of his auction where most of the buyers had shopped and the bids were starting to dwindle! I swooped in and bought it for £20… but I actually got it for £10 including postage!
How? Well, I had bought another bag, so the shipping was free on any additional bags and then when you sign up to tilt you get a voucher for £10 free shopping credit, so I used that. I love the coach monogram because because they are really simple and neutral bags, so if you are wearing a plain outfit they add a little extra detail and interest, but if you are wearing a busy outfit, then it feels a lot more neutral. It’s a win-win with pretty much every outfit! This bag caught my eye because I loved the pinky-read leather trim and the big buckles. Plus I knew the shape would be handy to fit plenty in, but lightweight and easy to wear crossbody.
Let’s chat about the condition
Condition wise, this bag is in great shape. There was probably a luggage tag on there once upon a time, which is now missing. And potentially a second strap too? I’m not sure. And there is also a bit of biro on the back of the strap. It’s subtle, and you won’t see it when it’s being worn, but that’s the major issue with it. Otherwise it’s in good clean condition and I’m thrilled!
Where I’ll be wearing this bag
Finally; this is the kind of bag I will be using every day for general errands and every day use. As much as I love my Chanel bags, sometimes they do feel a bit fancy and flash for the supermarket, so it’s nice to have something a little more low key to use for the school run or trips to the post office. Also, the genius of this bag is that fits basically everything you need inside, but it’s also really lightweight, comfortable to use and can be used crossbody. So it’s super practical, even the colour of it is practical as it goes with everything!!!! In fact; I love this bag so much I bought a smaller version from tilt too!!
My top tip? Get yourself a vintage coach bag at a great price and wear it every day! It’s more affordable than a River island bag, more sustainable than a primark bag and will last longer than pretty much any handbag too! It’s a great luxury brand and one of my faves to buy and carry on a daily basis!
