what to take to an alcohol free dinner party?!
Hello Friends! Today I want to have a quick chat about what to take to a dinner party… but make it alcohol free! If you are going to a booze-free party. It can be hard to know what to take, after all, you can’t exactly take a bottle of wine, but you also don’t want to show up empty handed. So here are my tips for what to take…

Clean co alcohol free gin
First up! Let’s go with the obvious, some alcohol free drinks. There’s so many to choose from, but in our house we love Clean Co and their booze free gin. Make sure you take some Fever-tree tonic too, you can’t rely on the host to have some in! Clean Co is a brilliant brand and whilst we love their gin, they have other options like rum to choose from.

Homemade pickles, chutney & a selection of cheese
Next up! Why not take a cheese board and some homemade chutney. It’s so easy to make a delicious onion chutney and everyone will love the effort and tucking into the impromptu cheese board!

Aeons olive oil
You should know by now I am obsessed with Aeons olive oil, especially their truffle oil, which contains real truffle. It’s a delightful treat and a lovely alternative to a bottle of wine!

London Nootropics mushroom coffee
My friend and I are obsessed with London Nootropics Mushroom coffee and it makes a fantastic dinner party gift, as not only is it a talking point, but it’s a fun opportunity to try something new! It doesn’t give you the same spike and crash that coffee gives, plus it taste fantastic and has oddles of health benefits. I’m going to do more about them soon, but for now… it’s a fantastic dinner party gift!

Cornish Sea Salt Company flavoured salt
Next up! I’m a huge fan of the Cornish Sea Salt Company and their flavoured salts! Instead of taking a bottle of wine, you could make a lovely little hamlet of their flavoured salts. They are perfect for roasting, tossing into salads, adding on top of pasta…. You name it!

Homemade Granola
It’s a little left field, but why not take your host a batch of freshly homemade granola. It’s easy to make, delicious and makes a lovely gift.

A scented Candle
You know me! If in doubt, buy a scented candle! It’s a thoughtful and delightful gift for every host that can be Burnt on the night, or for weeks after. My fave is always Jo Malone.

A homemade dessert
Finally, it’s obvious, of course, but the more desserts the better and if there’s too many desserts, then the host can enjoy them over the following few days. They won’t go to waste and it’s a very thoughtful gift. But whatever you do, put effort into it. It’s likely the host spent days preparing and spent a small fortune, so if you rock up with a £2 frozen Tesco dessert, it can look a little rude and disrespectful.
