hello friends! Today I thought I would do a Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple Cologne review! this is the latest limited edition fragrance from the iconic perfumery and it is inspired by ice cream! Yes! You heard that right… Ice cream!!!

Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple can be combined with Wood Sage & Sea Salt to give it a coastal, salty twist. Or you could combine it with Myrrh & Tonka for a richer, deeper more evening scent, which would bring out the creaminess and also make it a little more grown up. Finally, you could combine Raspberry Ripple with orange marmalade for a tangy twist!
Jo Malone ‘Raspberry Ripple’ Cologne review
I’m not normally someone who likes a sweet sugary fragrance, but this is a true delight!!! I don’t know how they managed it but Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple is fun, elegant, joyful, nostalgic and unique. It’s also got a hint of retro glam… as every British seaside should have; that mix of ornate ballrooms of yesteryear alongside bingo halls and donut stands! And we wouldn’t have it any other way!
Jo Malone Raspberry Ripple opens with a burst of juicy, delicious berries which mingle with creamy white musk, pink florals and a hint of fresh leafy greens. It’s pretty, sweet and joyful, but there is that slight nod to seaside glamour which brings a slightly classic elegance to the perfume. This is one of the most playful and sweet fragrances we have ever seen from the brand and it’s delightful! They do gourmand so well!
If I had to compare it to any other Jo Malone fragrances I would say it reminds me a little of peony & blush suede for its pink notes, or Beach Blossom for its summery feel, or perhaps a more playful and summery version of Blackberry & Bay… but honestly, this fragrance stands on its own!
As for fragrance combining, it would be perfect with the coastal and salty Wood Sage & Seasalt or it would pair nicely Myrrh & Tonka to add a little extra creaminess and evening-feel. Or would love to try it with Peony & blush suede to add a touch more floral to the fragrance. And if you really wanted to go wild, you could go for something a little Earl Grey & Cucumber to give it more of an afternoon tea on the terrace vibe; cucumber sandwiches, Smokey tea and raspberry cream cakes… that sounds good to me!
