8 Ways to Wear a Hermès Twilly
hello friends! Today I thought I would share 8 ways to wear a Hermes twilly! I bought mine recently on the preloved market and it cost around £95, I thought it was so beautiful and I just couldn’t resist it! So today I thought I would share a few ways to wear it, because it’s too cute to leave sitting in your wardrobe!!
The Hermès Twilly is a slim silk scarf which is double sided because it’s folded in on itself and sewn together. So unlike a scarf it can be shown either side and there’s no hand rolled edges. It is a really versatile accessory which is one of the cheapest items you can buy from Hermes and also, one of the cutest! Let’s chat!

1. As a Bag Handle Wrap
This is probably the most famous way to use it. Simply, wrap the Twilly around the handles of your favorite handbag for a chic, protective layer. It not only adds a personal touch but also protects your bag’s handles from wear and tear, especially good if your bag is a light colour or you have some discolouration you want to hide.
2. As a Hair accessory
•Ponytail Accent: Tie it around your ponytail for a playful, polished look. Very cute!
•Headband: Wrap it around your head and tie it at the nape or in a bow for a retro-inspired headband. Again, a very cute look!

3. Around Your Wrist
Wear your Hermes twilly as a bracelet by wrapping it around your wrist and tying a small knot or bow. This creates a statement accessory that’s unique and sophisticated. Just a heads up, you might need another pair of hands to do the bow, so this isn’t one for the single gals, sorry.
4. As a Neck Scarf
•Classic Bow: Wrap the Twilly around your neck and tie it into a neat bow or knot at the front.
•Choker Style: Tie it snugly around your neck for a modern, minimalist look and knot at the back.
•As a pussy bow: wear it with a shirt and make it into a cute pussy bow blouse, but super luxe!

5. As a Belt Accent
Thread the Twilly through your belt loops or tie it over a slim belt to add a pop of color to your outfit.
6. Around a Hat
Wrap the Twilly around the base of a wide-brimmed sunhat or fedora to give it a personalized, stylish touch. You can also attach a brooch for a more-is-more finish!
7. Birkin-a-fy you handbag with a twilly and charms
Instead of using your twilly to decorate your bag in a prim way which protects your handle, you can also use it for more of a careful maximalist look to birkin-a-fy your bag like Jane Birkin did. Tie it in a bow and add some extra charms for a playful maximalist look!

8. Add interest to a simple top or dress
finally, use your twilly to add interest to a vest top or strappy summer dress by making it into a bow on the strap, almost like a brooch or corsage. You can do one on each side, or just do the one. Either way, it’s very cute!

Ta da! And there we have it! Lots of ways of how to wear your Hermes twilly! Enjoy!
