Each year, Diptyque make a huge 1.5kg candle in a limited edition pot. This year it’s Bais and the pot is an even bigger… it’s 5kg! No really! 5kg! That’s £800 of bais and I’m not gonna lie… if I had the cash I would totally go for it! If you do buy it, let me know! I want to live vicariously through you!!!
SAPIN / PINE TREE CANDLE 190G – LIMITED EDITION
Fragrance: Pine, Mimosa
The Pine candle is ALWAYS my favourite of the Diptyque christmas candles. I love its slightly sweet, woodsy, pine-iness. It’s so beautiful and if in doubt, I would say go for Sapin. It’s wonderful! This candle is a 190g pot and costs £65.
DELICE / Delight CANDLE 190G – LIMITED EDITION
Fragrance: dried fruit, vanilla
I’m REALLY excited about this candle, I’ve already tried it and it’s a warm, sweet, gourmand fragrance. In previous years it’s been themed around amber and ginger biscuits, or log fires and biscuits, but this time it’s dried fruit and vanilla. It’s absolutely stunning! The pine candle is usually my fave but I think this year it’s my favourite!! Oh and the packaging is beautiful too! This candle is a 190g pot and costs £65.
COTON / COTTON CANDLE 190G – LIMITED EDITION
Fragrance: tonka bean, cotton
Each year Diptyque create a candle which is more soft, snowy and pillowy. Think musks, mimosa, vanilla and generally softer, more subtle etherial accords. I love the soft sweet woodsiness of Tonka bean and I’m excited to see how this one smell. I can imagine it will be soft, creamy, sparkly and a touch sweet. I’m excited to try this one. This candle is a 190g pot and costs £65.
