Inspiration
Jo Malone London English Pear & Sweet Pea Cologne is inspired by the iconic and much loved English Pear & Freesia cologne. In case you don’t know it, Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia is a fruity-floral fragrance which is bright, elegant, unique and universally loved. It’s one of the best sellers from the brand and a modern classic.
With this fragrance, perfumer, Céline Roux, wanted to give a new twist on the classic fragrance; blending pear with wild sweet peas. With this fragrance, the pear is still the star of the show, but this time sweet peas take the place of freesia to give us more of a soft, subtle, blush pink twist on the fragrance.
If you love Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia but you want a little change, a slight twist on the classic the English Pear & Sweetpea could be the one!
Also, if you are planning a wedding soon, then this could be a perfect wedding fragrance; either as a scented wedding with candles and diffusers, or as your perfume for the day.
Similarly, if you are shopping for a gift for someone, English Pear &. Sweetpea could be the perfect choice! It’s fruity, brightly, uplifting, floral and rural. The perfect gift fragrance!
Fragrance Combining
In terms of fragrance combining, Jo Malone English Pear & Sweetpea can be made fresher and a little more salty and coastal with a splash of Wood Sage & Seasalt. It could also be made a little more creamy and suitable for the evening with a touch of Myrrh & Tonka. If you want to amp up the fruity notes and make it a little more ‘green’ to compliment the pear you could combine it with Lime Basil & Mandarin and if you want to amp up the wildflower floral notes then perhaps Wild Bluebells would be a stunning combination!
