Roja parfums: ISOLA BLU fragrance review
Roja Parfums are often described as the finest fragrances in the world and Isola Blu is exactly that; fine, fabulous, splendid quality and a delight for the senses. With one spritz you really are transported to a hotter climate filled with dazzling sun beating down on blue waters, fresh citrus fruits, sea air and joyful fresh fruits and warm sun-drenched woods.
A lot of Roja Dove’s creations are heavy hitting fragrances, where as this one is a little more subtle and possibly more wearable for every day. Especially if you like something a little lighter and fresher. That’s not to say it’s weak or tame, on the contrary; it’s bright, lively and wonderful! It’s just a little less intense than some of the others like Fetish or Aoud.
It’s chic, fresh, transportive and fabulous. It’s wonderful for both men and women and whilst this is the perfect summer fragrance, it could be easily worn all year round. It reminds me a little of Elysium, but more unisex and it has more of a floral and crisp quality. It also reminds of me of Vetiver Pour Homme, but a little less heavy and a little more summery. In terms of other brands it reminds me of, I would say it has an air of Acqua Di Parma to it, I think it’s the dreamy Mediterranean vibes it’s giving. Either way, it’s fantastic!
