What fits inside
This bag is a mid-to-large style shoulder bag and it’s got no internal pockets or lining, so you get extra internal space to cram as much stuff in as you want. Personally, I think this bag is perfect for the usual, purse, phone keys, small amount of make-up, airpods and then you have room for a compact camera or a small size water bottle or some snacks. Also, it might be worth considering using some smaller pouches inside the bag to keep your phone from scratching against your keys, as there isn’t any in-built compartments.
How to style the Cambridge satchel company shoulder bag
The Cambridge satchel company pushlock shoulder bag is simple, classic flap shoulder bag, meaning it’s super versatile. If you were to buy this bag in black it would be smart and serious, perfect with a suit or a smart casual look. However, if you were to buy this bag in pink and tie a coloured silk scarf around the strap, it would be playful and perfect worn with a cute Kate Spade dress in the summer. My point is, this bag is really want you want it to be! Personally, I love my CSC bags to be colourful and cute, but that’s my style. I love wearing this bag over my shoulder with a vintage dress, and in the winter I plan to wear it crossbody with a cute tweed coat.
Personally, I love the simplicity of this bag, however, if you want to jazz it up; you can add a few bag charms and tie a silk scarf to the strap and you could get it monogrammed with your name or initials too. Again, this bag is a chameleon and can be anything you want it to be!

Like all CSC bags, this can be be personalised with your monogram, this is a really nice way to make your bag unique to you and makes a really thoughtful gift too. Personally, I always leave mine monogram free as I have been engaged for 10 years (I know, I’m a slow coach!) and so for that entire time I’ve been avoiding monograms as it seems like bad luck to use my ‘new’ or ‘future’ initials and I don’t want to make my bag redundant after we get hitched! Also, I like the idea of being able to give or share my bags with Mary too.

Is the Cambridge satchel company pushlock shoulder bag worth the money & review!
I LOVE Cambridge Satchel Company handbags, I have a bit of a collection at this point; the Emily bag is great for the office, the daisy bag is SO cute and stands up (which is the only drawback of the poppy bag), the traveller bag is a brilliant unisex bag which is great for when you are carrying a camera and the poppy is my all time favourite because it’s a beautifully designed mid-size handbag which always looks wonderful!
The Cambridge Satchel company Pushlock shoulder bag is a really lovely bag; it’s classic, simple, easy to wear and really affordable too. My larger sized bag retails for £125 AND you can get 10% off by signing up to their mailing list, which takes it down to around £112, which is honestly incredible.
I have it in the blue, which I LOVE because I love bright colours, but if you are looking for a more subtle colour, like a black or tan, or a super cute red, they are also available, plus the CSC often release limited edition colours, so you can always look out for something more unique if there’s nothing which catches your attention right now.
I love this bag because it’s a good all-rounder, it’s perfect for all seasons, it’s lightweight to carry, always stylish and classic and if you want to make it a bit fancier, you can emboss it with your monogram and you can have fun attaching scarves to the straps to add a little extra texture.
It’s also great if you are looking for a mid-size bag which is affordable! CSC are a really cool brand who are known for their of-beat vintage inspired style which is synonomous with classic style and education. It’s a perfect bag for everything from errands, to work to lunch with friends and even giving as a gift. It’s lovely! The Poppy bag is my forever favourite from CSC, but the push lock shoulder bag comes in at a close second!
