If you have been eyeing up this bag, it’s a must-read, if I may say so myself!!
I love Kate Spade bags! They are playful, high quality, wearable and designer, but not ‘serious’. They have a lot of personality and they are super fun to wear! Plus they are often a bit of a conversation piece, if you like compliments… this is the brand for you! The Kate Spade Katy bag comes in a variety of colourways and finishes, most of them in leather retail for around £425, however the wicker version like mine is a little more at £445. If you are looking for a cheaper Kate spade wicker bag, there are more options at around £200-250 for smaller size saddle style bags.

How to wear the Kate Spade Katy bag
The Kate Spade Katy bag in wicker is the perfect smart casual summer handbag. As you might know, my wardrobe is filled with vintage dresses, mainly in floral and polka dot prints, so it’s super fun with all these dresses, but similarly, it’s dreamy with a modern floral midi dress. It’s also perfect with a white dress or a prairie style dress. In short, it’s great with a cute dress!! It also looks lovely with a billowy smock dress, as it gives good structure.
IF dresses aren’t your thing, then try this bag with a cute pair of jeans, a blazer and a button down shirt or breton. Easy, cute and stylish! Also, if you are a lover of brightly coloured blazers, this is the perfect bag to team up with a bright colour!
If you are off to a wedding, you could wear it with a Zimmerman dress or a linen suit, but similarly, if you are off shopping for the day, it’s super cute with jeans and a casual top, worn as a shoulder bag. I would say for dressier looks, hold it as a cross body bag and for a more casual look, wear it with the shoulder strap for an easy breezy look!

Why you need this bag?
This bag is a slice of summer joy! It’s the handbag I’ve been missing in my life! It’s the perfect wicker bag, beautifully made and perfect for the spring / summer season. It’s joyful, practical and fun to wear and goes with basically every summer look; smart or casual.
The inside the roomy and the bag opens with a hinge so it opens up nicely so you can always fit your daily needs inside and get them out easily too. It also has two ways to wear, with a top handle and with a shoulder strap, so it’s comfortable and versatile. If you are considering the Gucci Marmont bagGucci Marmont bag but don’t have the budget, then this is a great alternative, it’s playful, luxe but way more affordable.
The only place I wouldn’t advise you to wear this bag is to work, as it might not be big enough or to a festival as it’s too nice!
