Two Ways to wear
There are two ways to wear this chic tote bag, as a top handle bag, or as a shoulder bag. Also, you can remove the longer shoulder straps if you want a more streamline look. This is really similar to the Coach Rogue bag. Personally, I love the look of the bag held with the top handles, but after a long day, it is handy having the option of using the long shoulder straps.

Coach Rae tote bag review
The Coach Rae bag comes in two colours; a stunning tan and a black. The tan has contrast colour handles, where as the black is all black and both bags feature the iconic brushed brass hardware. The bag is simple in style and doesn’t have a huge amount of branding on it. Of course, it has the Coach horse and cart on the luggage tag, but there’s no coach logo on the top of the bag between the handles as you might expect. There is also one extra piece of branding which is super subtle, the handle makes a ‘C’ shape. It’s something you would only notice as a fan, giving the bag more of an ‘if you know, you know’ vibe.
The Coach Rae bag is big and sturdy, It’s made from beautiful buttery soft glove tanned leather, much like saddlery leather and it’s the kind of bag which will age beautifully. In contrast, the Coach Rogue bag is made from Grained leather, so if you like something a little smoother, this bag might be for you.
Price wise, the Coach Rae bag is £795, which is similar to the Coach Rogue bag. The Rogue is a little smaller, however, the Rogue has three compartments, where as the Rae is one main compartment with a detachable pouch.
Personally, I love this simple but slick tote bag. It’s exactly the kind of bag I’m always looking for. Big, spacious, simple, but cool. I can throw all my goodies in and then some and it will age beautifully and never date. I also love the fact it’s quite unisex in style too. And if I really want, it can even double up as an overnight bag. I think if I had to choose between the Coach Rae and the Coach Rogue bag, my heart will still go for the Rogue, because it’s my favourite Coach bag ever, but it’s still fantastic and fabulous and I’m planning on adding it to my collection very soon. What’s stopping me?! The fact that there’s only two colour ways at the moment and I’m waiting to see if more are released soon! I have a feeling this bag will be a big silhouette for the brand!
