Jo Malone London ‘Peony & Blush Suede’ Cologne Review
Oh la la! It’s time to chat about Jo Malone London Peony & Blush Suede cologne! This delightful perfume is one of my go-to fragrances if I am buying a gift. It’s pretty, easy to wear and super accessible. Peony & Blush Suede is impossible not to love!
This fragrance opens with bright juicy fresh apple accords, which mingle with the joyfully pink scent of peony. The two dance together and really sparkle, like the sea on a summers’ day, or champagne in a glass at a garden party. In fact, if you imagine an English garden, bursting with blooms and pink florals with rows of apple trees and elderflower cocktails, that’s half way to imagining this perfume. Add in some soft suede and leather accords to give it a bit of edge and depth, and you have yourself a wonderful summer fragrance!
For me, Jo Malone London Peony & Blush Suede cologne is a youthful but elegant fragrance, it’s a real crowd pleaser and it’s a great fragrance to give as a gift because everyone loves it and it’s so easy to wear. If you like fragrances like Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia or Blackberry & Bay, this one could be for you too!
My only criticism with this fragrance is that it doesn’t have the best longevity, maybe 4-6 hours, however, you can increase it by misting it into you hair and onto your clothes and layering it up with the bath and body products or combining it with another fragrance. Also, it’s always worth moisturising your skin as hydrated skin locks in fragrance better than dry skin. Fun fact!
