Five things that made me smile this week
Hello friends! Today I want to share a quick and fun post about five things that made me smile this week, because let’s be honest, we all need a little more joy in our lives… let’s go!
Mary was baptised
Last weekend Mary was baptised and it was so lovely. She has six godparents, which is admittedly a few more than what’s traditional, but she’s an only child and we thought it would be nice for her to have extra godparents and extra support and spiritual guidance. It was a really special day and even though it was super soon after we have moved in and took a lot of work, planning and organising, it was so worth it!
Acqua Di Parma ‘Rosa Nobile’
One of my forever favourite perfumes has to be Acqua Di Parma Rosa Nobile! I love this dreamy modern rose fragrance! I had run out and I’m so glad to have a top up of it! It’s stunning! You can read my full review here!
Art on the walls
We are at the ‘let’s put things on the walls’ phase and it feels SO good!!!!! This painting is in our landing and it’s a vintage oil on canvas. I’m really into old flower paintings at the moment!
My new-to-me bag
Oops! I accidentally bought a Gucci bag!!!!! It was my sisters and she was thinking of selling it so I said I was interested and one thing led to another and now it’s mine!!!! But it’s pretty special, right?! I’m not 100% if I can afford it, but I also haven’t really bought any clothes – or accessories since I found out I was pregnant and Mary is 10 months old now!
Henry’s townhouse Candle
I recently got a Henry’s Townhouse candle and OMG, I am obsessed! The pot is beautiful and looks amazing on ever shelf I put it on, but also the scent is divine! I have the ‘carriage snug’ candle which smells of rum and Vetiver. It’s a stunning gourmand fragrance, sweet, earthy and boozy. I love it!! Such an exciting new brand!
