Chloe Marcie Bag Review
I’ve been wanting to chat about the Chloe Marcie bag for a while now as it’s so iconic!!! This is a designer bag which is as classic as the LV neverful or the Chanel Classic flap. It was released back in 2009 and it’s star has never faded. Whilst styles like the Chloe Paddington have been and gone, the Marcie bag feels timeless.
The Chloe Marcie bag is a casual style saddle bag which takes heavy inspiration from a saddle. It features beautiful, thick leather with heavy stitching and heavy brass hardware just like tack. It’s got a festival feel to it and a heavy 70’s inspiration. If you love to dress in floaty vintage style dresses and have a liking for fringing jackets, then this could be the bag for you! Alternatively, if you like to keep your style a little more minimal, the Chloe Marcie bag looks wonderful with a simple pair of jeans and a button down shirt – it adds a little pizzaz. The Chloe Marcie has a bit of a rich-hippy-I’m-off-to-Coachella vibe. It’s the kind of bag Carrie Bradshaw would have worn to the Hamptons Ho-down party, or to Aidan’s cabin. It’s cute, simple, playful and carefree.
In terms of size, the Marcie is a wonderful larger size crossbody bag. It fits inside your purse, phone, keys, but extra essentials like a bit of make-up, a phone charger, maybe a small compact camera and even cereal bag or two. Basically everything you could possibly need, except a laptop. Speaking of which, in my opinion, the main drawback to the Chloe Marcie bag is the fact that it’s quite casual and it can’t be worn for work.
