Hello friends! Today I thought I should share a little love for one of my faves – Dr Marten boots!! I have been wearing Doc’s since I bought myself a pair at 17 years old with money I made stacking shelves at Sainsbury’s as a student! I wore them for YEARS and added a few more pairs along the way! I’m a huge fan of the Dr Martens brand, I’ve bought shares in them, visited their factory, been to their factory shop and generally loved their footwear for years and years and years. No joke, a pair of Dr Martens will literally last you years. My current pair of 1461 shoes are still going strong and I’ve been wearing them for nearly 10 years now! I’ve worn them to London Fashion Week, the woods, the beach, on holiday, to parities, gigs… you name it! They are my go-anywhere shoes and I LOVE them!!! They are currently kind of muddy, but the soles and leather are still looking fresh as a daisy and I wouldn’t be surprised if Mary is asking to wear them in 20 years time – isn’t that a crazy thought?!

They have brilliant vegan friendly options
It’s true! Dr Martens have a brilliant vegan friendly range of shoes and boots and they were one of the first brands to realise how important it was to their customers to create these options. Yep! It’s true! Right now they have 30% off some REALLY cool styles and they often have great pairs on sale in the summer and January sales too. The classic boots and shoes in black don’t tend to be included in offers, but their seasonal colours and options do, so make sure you check them out! Once you break in a pair of Dr Martens, they are like slippers!!! No joke! They might take a while to break in but once you do, they are a dream to wear!! And like I said a million times already, they are worth the effort because you can literally wear them anywhere and everywhere and they always look cool! They defy all fashion trends and they are in the same always-cool-cult-status category as Converse trainers and Ray-ban Wayfarers. They simply never go out of style and they always look cool!
