This is one of the new fragrances from the iconic Italian perfumery and it’s perfect for women and men who love a richer, darker, more mysterious fragrances. An artistic combination of two olfactive sensations: the opulent scent of Oud enhanced by vibrant and luminous citrus notes.
The powerful and enveloping notes of Oud are distilled and combined with the warm, spicy tones of Cinnamon and Cloves, to create an unforgettable discovery.

Acqua di Parma ‘Oud & Spice’ Fragrance Review

When it comes to perfumes, I tend to favour unisex fragrances. I love heavy ouds, incense and resins, I go wild for rose, tuberose and vetiver and I’m never afraid of green notes like fig, tomato leaf and neroli. As for herbaceous and spicy accords… I’m all in!

That being said, whilst I was pregnant I found myself completely changing course and wearing much lighter, softer, prettier perfumes with more blossom accords, which was really unlike me, but I’m guessing it’s because my sense of smell was heightened and I wanted something much softer and lighter. Thankfully, I’m feeling (and smelling!) more like myself now and I’m REALLY feeling the richer, moodier, heavier scents again and this one is divine! It’s also a firm favourite for my boyfriend who is also a huge fan of the ADP brand.

Acqua di Parma Oud & Spice Fragrance is a perfect blend of rich, dark, luxe woodsy smoky accords and lighter, brighter, fresher accords. It’s perfectly unisex, with the raspberry and rose slightly more dominant on my skin and the spice and ouds more dominant on his skin. It has wonderful longevity, it’s really unique and super luxurious and high quality. It gives me slight Tom Ford Wood Oud vibes, but with more of a fresh Italian twist, it also reminds me a little of Byredo’s Cuir Obscur. If I had to categorise it as more masculine or feminine, I would say it leans towards to men, but saying that, I LOVE wearing and sharing this one! Acqua di Parma Oud & Spice is exactly what I’ve been looking for, it’s fabulous exactly what I need right now! Fancy blind buying it, then shop it on the ADP website, otherwise head into your local stockist to try it out! It’s fabulous!
