Hello friends! Today I thought I would do a quick post on the new fragrance from Acqua di Parma: ‘Lily of the Valley’. I’m technically on maternity leave at the moment, but I couldn’t resist having a chat about this perfume as it’s so beautiful it deserves a full review!
Acqua di Parma Lily of the Valley reminds me a little of their classic Magnolia Nobile… but taken to the next level! It’s a stunning white floral-citrus fragrance which is both modern and classic all at once. To my nose the dominant notes are lily of the valley, bergamot and petit grain. The blackcurrant adds the merest hit of juicy sweetness, the grapefruit is an extra punch of citrus freshness and the woodsy, musky base is comforting and sensual. Together it’s a real slice of springtime magic and wonderfully classic, elegant and fabulous!
Of course, Acqua di Parma Lily of the Valley is a beautiful day-to-night perfume to enjoy all summer long, but personally, I think it also makes a dreamy wedding day fragrance. There’s just something about the elegant, uplifting white florals which makes it perfect for the big day and once that day is over, this perfume will reignite all the happy memories. If you love Acqua di Parma Magnolia Nobile then you need to try this one! It’s fantastic!
