L’Oreal Paris Midnight Serum Review

It’s no secret L’Oreal are one of my favourite (premium) high street skincare brands; They deliver high quality, hardworking products at an amazing price. Although it is worth noting that this product at full price (£29.99) is fairly expensive for the high street, it’s been £19.99 for weeks and I have a feeling it might be this price frequently in the future too. Let’s be honest, Boots LOVE giving us discounts and deals, so I think we can assume this isn’t a flash one-off price! Which I’m all over! Because friends, this is a BRILLIANT serum!

Whilst you can use this product in the morning and evening, I personally only use it in the evening. I assumed from the name is was a night-time only serum and I just went with that. However, it is worth noting that whilst it is packed full of vitamin E and hyaluronic acid which are great for locking in moisture day or night, it also contains antioxidants to help renew the skin cells which are most active at night. Since that is the main selling point of the serum, I would personally recommend using this serum in the evening to let it work it’s magic and then going for a simpler, cheaper serum in the day to save a little cash.

L’Oreal Paris Midnight Serum is lightweight and glides over the skin beautifully with a light, fresh citrusy scent. I love the way it melts into the skin and absorbs super fast, and within minutes the skins surface appears plumper and it has dispelled very fine lines, it’s truly like magic! Simply lock it in with a night cream and voila, by morning your skin is brighter, more hydrated, plumper and generally healthier looking. No joke, this serum is a POWERHOUSE! I understand why it’s so well loved, it’s £19.99 well spent and it will last for months, especially if you use it as a night serum. Oh and don’t forget to use SPF in the day time, even in the Winter! You know it’s important!

Thank you for reading my  L’Oreal Paris Midnight Serum. I really hope this post is of help, if you want to purchase it, you can find it at Boots UK. This post contains press samples.
