OMG! L’Occitane’s Limited Edition Shea Butter ‘Winter Walk’ Collection is AMAZING!
Hello friends! Today I want to tell you about the new L’Occitane’s Limited Edition Shea Butter ‘Winter Walk’ Collection. This has just been released for christmas and I truly can’t stress enough how wonderful it is. It is part of the iconic Shea Butter collection, so it’s super hydrating and nourishing on the skin, but this time… with a green wintery twist and stunning packaging! It’s a delight!
For me, this fragrance collection was love at first sniff. I absolutely LOVE the smell of fig and in my opinion, there isn’t enough fig scented products out there. Whilst fig doesn’t have the most glamorous of names, it’s scent is a true joy for every season. It is a very milky green scent; fresh, slightly citrus, a little sweet, creamy and above all leafy and green. L’Occitane have blended it with a little mandarin to add freshness, aromatic sandalwood, sensual musk and slightly nutty shea butter. Together it’s fresh, warm, woodsy and comforting. It’s a nod to the winter season, but personally I would wear this all year round because I go wild for green, figgy fragrances and L’Occitane have created something really special here.
If I’m completely honest, my only criticism of this collection is that it’s limited edition – I hope one day it will be a permanent friend. I also wish there was a eau de toilette or a cologne in the collection as it would make a stunning perfume for both men and women. Again… hopefully one day!!
Anyway! That’s my thoughts on the collection, I hope you love it as much as I do and if you love fragrances like Jo Malone Wild Fig & Cassis or Diptyque Philosykos, then you need to try this collection too! It’s wonderful!
