Alpha H ‘Melting Moment’ Cleansing Balm Review

Hello friends! Today I want to have a quick chat about the new and amazing cleansing balm from Alpha H. I don’t know about you guys, but I am a huge fan of the brand, especially their Liquid Gold products which are perfect for exfoliating, re-booting and re-newing skin tone and texture.

This new Alpha H Melting Moment Cleansing balm is a bit of a departure from their Liquid Gold range, instead it’s more of a luxurious, deeply nourishing and hydrating cleansing balm. It smells incredible like orange, orange blossom and botanicals, and it’s packed full of natural and super luxe and hardworking hydrating products. All of which really give your skin a lift and a boost, but not in the same way that the Liquid Gold range does, it’s more of a gentle, luxurious and hydrating balm which really soothes, nourishes and leaves your skin feeling clean, fresh and super smooth and hydrated. It’s a top tier cleansing balm and I am here for it!!!

“This luxurious balm-to-oil cleanser melts away makeup, SPF, dirt and pollution. This waterless formula combines nourishing actives and antioxidants including native Australian Wild Orange Leaf Extract, Sandalwood Seed Oil and Grapeseed Oil which leave skin hydrated, soft and radiant – never stripped, tight or dry.”

Key Ingredients

How to use Alpha H Melting Moment Cleansing balm

  • Apply a grape sized amount to dry skin and gently massage into the face and neck. Can be used on the eye area to remove make up.
  • Add warm water to emulsify the formula and continue working into the skin in circular motions.
  • Rinse off with warm water and a face cloth if needed.
  • Suitable for all skin types including oily, sensitive and dry skin.

It reminds me of …

The Alpha H Melting Moment Cleansing balm reminds of a a mix of all my favourite luxury cleansing balms. It has a similar orange / orange blossom scent to the Emma Hardie cleansing balm, it has a dreamy soft, balm-to-oil formula to Egyptian Magic. It emulsifies with water much like the Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing balm and it reminds me a little of an orange-y version of the Neals Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm. Of course some of these products are multi-use beauty balms and to my knowledge this is a solely a cleansing balm. But basically it’s a top tier cleanser like all of the above!
