Milk Make-Up Glow Oil Review

In case you don’t know, I LOVE a good lip oil; I love a truly hydrating lip product which gives a dreamy pop of colour. I like a lip oil which is rich enough to barely need to reapply during the day and can be slept in at night. Glosses can get stuffed, it’s all about the lip oil for me!

Milk Make-up is the hot brand at the moment and the one product that I really wanted to try was the Milk Make-Up Glow Oil. I loved the look of the tiny tube, the promise of hydration, a pretty glow and a pop of colour. It’s everything I want, especially with this summer heat!

True to it’s name, Milk Make-Up Glow Oil delivered. On the cheeks it gives a super pretty, glossy, glowy finish which you can use on the cheeks or if you have one of the paler shades you could try using it on your cupids bow, under or over your eyebrows or just anywhere you want a really pretty natural glossy finish to your skin. Obviously the darker shades might give a little too much colour payoff, but the lighter shades would totally work. Otherwise just blend it over your cheeks for a really pretty, peachy summer look.

As a lip product, the Glow Oil is equally pretty. I have shade FLARE. You can use one quick sweep as an easy lip balm which is super hydrating and gives a pretty sheen, or you can swipe over your lips a couple of times for a little more colour pay off. The colour you see in the tube is much darker and much more pigmented than the colour you see on your skin, so please be aware of that. I’ve done swatches to show. Also even though the colour is buildable, it’s never going to give you a major payoff, but it is a really pretty glossy summer tint. This product is all about the glow and hydration!

If you are like me and you want a easy, glossy, handbag friendly lip colour that will give you a lovely hit of hydration on-the-go, then this is for you – apply with no mirror needed! The colours are really pretty and the hydration and comfort they give are brilliant, way more than I expected, in some ways it’s more of a beauty product than a cosmetic product! As a cheek colour, it’s undeniably pretty and glossy and perfect for women who like to keep their make up light and glossy. Perfect on the cheeks in summer and perfect on the lips all year round! Completely non-sticky and a dreamy, soft, deeply hydrating formula! Love it!! Next on my list is shade Astro
