Jo Malone ‘Nectarine Blossom & Honey’ Cologne Review
Hello friends! Today I want to chat about the classic and iconic Summer floral fragrance; Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne. This is a stunning blossom-filled fragrance which I have been loving over the past few sunshine filled weeks. It’s also a cologne which has been requested I talked about, so I’m really excited for this post!
Like most people, my fragrance tastes dramatically change between the seasons and this Summer I have been pregnant and found myself wanting more light and fresh colognes than ever before. For the past few months I have been rotating perfumes like Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Orange Blossom and Lime Basil Mandarin. What can I say, I’m all about those breezy, pretty, summer blooms right now!
Jo Malone Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne is undeniably pretty; it smells like fresh breezy blossom and morning dew. It has hints of delicious cassis – I think what drew me to the perfume initially and a touch a sweet peach. The peach makes it a little sweeter than most other Jo Malone fragrances, but it’s by no means sugary is sicky, it’s just delightfully pretty and addictive.
I love it worn alone, but it’s also stunning layered up with Myrrh & Tonka for more of an evening vibe – just an FYI, Myrrh & Tonka is the best fragrance for layering up. It makes everything a little more magical and mysterious! If I was to compare it with the other iconic Jo Malone Blossom fragrance, Orange Blossom. I would say it’s a little more youthful, a little sweeter and a little easier to wear. I often have to be in the mood to wear Orange Blossom, where as Nectarine Blossom & Honey Cologne is a little easier and more wearable for every mood. It also reminds me a little of English Pear & Freesia, which is a similar summery, pretty, fruity-floral fragrance.
Trust me! It’s a summer peachy, blossom delight!
