Every Outfit Podcast
It’s been a while since I discovered a new podcast I love and Every Outfit is right up my street. It’s made by the girls behind ‘Every outfit on Sex & The City’ Instagram and it’s honestly so fun. They are super smart and super knowledgable about fashion, pop culture and of course, SATC. It’s a really entertaining podcast and I always learn something new about the Met Gala, Foreign Press Association or the Kardashians. I’m not doing a great job of selling it, but if you follow their instagram and love it, then try the podcast because it’s that and SO much more!
Emma Hardie Hand Sanitiser
Possibly the nicest hand sanitiser I have ever used! It smells like Emma Hardie goodness and it is non-drying and non-toxic feeling / smelling. I don’t know about you, but I’m more than happy to spend a little more on a luxury hand sanitiser! Which is crazy as pre-covid I never bought or used hand sanitiser and now here I am with a collection of luxury versions in my car / handbags / coat pockets! I guess times change…
Ole Henriksen Skincare
I’ve been using a lot of Ole Hendriksen skincare recently and OMG! I am obsessed! The Truth Juice Cleanser is amazing, so fresh and brightening. The Vitamin C Serum is also amazing, as is the face cream. I’m truly becoming a HUGE Ole Hendriksen fan and I’m loving it!!! Have you tried it yet? If so, let me know your favourites because I’m still so new to the brand!
This month my boyfriend and I have been binging Brooklyn 99 and honestly, it’s everything I need right now. It’s fun, lighthearted and super entertaining. I don’t want heavy and thought provoking, I want TV which feels like hanging out with friends… and yes, I sound like a loser.
SO much better than regular Skittles. Just saying!
Daisy Shield Necklace
With most of my wardrobe still in storage, I have a really limited number of cute things to choose from when I want to pimp my outfit. Thankfully packing-the-house Kirsty decided to put all her jewellery in a box except this one Daisy Shield Necklace which she put in a handbag and discovered earlier this month! I loved this necklace before, but now I love it even more! It’s beautiful and 70’s inspired and truly goes with every outfit, even leggings and a jumper! Read my full Daisy jewellery review here.
Sanctuary Spa ‘Fig & Black Amber’ Candle
I can’t believe how rainy it has been this month!?! It’s barely stopped! I haven’t had to water the garden in WEEKS! Which is wild, as I was out there every day with the hose pipe in April! Anyway, with this cold, wet weather, it’s reminded me how much I adore lighting candles in the evening (and let’s be honest, afternoon too!) I’ve been trying to be a little thriftier recently, so I have started burning more affordable candles and I have to admit, I’m liking it! I’m saving a fortune and I’m able to burn them more frequently with less guilt! This month I have been loving Sanctuary Spa ‘Fig & Black Amber’ Candle. It smells like warm, sweet figs and amber, as promised, more ambery than fig-y. Super pretty!
This month I painted my porch door! I only intended to paint the door pink, but I wanted a little extra fun and contrast, so I painted the frame a soft green and it’s a little unexpected, but I like it!!! I used Exterior Paint from Lick and I used Pink 04 and Green 09. They are super pretty colours! It’s making me want to paint more things pink and green!
Pixi On-The-Glow Blush
I got sent the new Pixi On-The-Glow Blushers this month and I’m kinda blown away by them. They are a stick blusher and they look quite dark in the stick, but they are super sheer on your skin. They are super hydrating and glossy looking on your skin and honestly, I am kind of smitten. I think my favourite is the shade ‘Juicy’ which is a coral shade. So pretty, glossy and glowy!
Shay & Blue ‘Lilacs & Gooseberries’ Perfume
This month I got the new Shay & Blue ‘Lilacs & Gooseberries’ Perfume and I kinda love it!!! It’s so unusual with it’s notes of green ripe gooseberries and vintage vibes of lilacs. It’s so unique and special and lovely, I’ve been wearing it and a lot and it’s perfect for Spring; Fresh, pretty, light and a touch sweet. Lovely!
I passed this house on the way to getting my vaccine and I GASPED! It was stunning! I’ve never seen so much wisteria and it was 200 years of cultivation that got it here! Incredible!!!! Such a treat!!!!
The Flower Wall Is Back!!!
THE FLOWER WALL IS BACK!!!! I had a super similar flower wall in my old house and I felt like my little office in Norfolk was missing something and I figured a flower wall might be just that ‘thing’! It’s giving me a lot of joy! Also, I snuck this JUST into May, I did this on the very last day! Isn’t it cute?! Let’s hope the tape stays strong! The flowers are from Dunelm, just so you know!
And there we have it! My monthly faves! I hope you like! This post contains some affiliate links and some press samples.
