We Moved House!

We Moved House!

That’s right! CURVE BALL!! We moved house! Twelve months ago I had no intension of going anywhere because I LOVED out Margate home so much. I mean… it was perfect! But then covid hit and as much as I felt SO lucky to be locking down in such a lovely (and let’s be honest, good sized) home, but it made us realise how short life is and how I wanted to be a tiny bit closer to my family. Plus we had always loved the idea of living in Norfolk so we figured we would put our house on the market and look for a Norfolk home and see if the stars aligned and the next thing we knew, here we are!

So, What’s Next?!

Well, the house is a stunner with so many original features already, but as always, it’s a project! So there is a lot of renovating to be done. Thankfully we learnt a lot with our last property so we are well versed in lime mortar, damp issues, roof repairs, drainage, repointing, re-wiring, re-plumbing, remodelling and the likes, so we will be doing plenty of that, plus of course, designing, decorating and antiques shopping! I’ll be sharing a lot of the works with you – probably a lot of YouTube and Instagram, so stay tuned and I’ll try and share our old-house renovation knowledge with you as much as possible. So if you are interested in finding out more or just following the progress, go find me on YouTube and Instagram, but if you are just here for the decor, there will be plenty of that too! But don’t worry, the fashion and beauty content will still be here, there will just be lots of renovating thrown in along the way!

Also, a huge thank you to everyone who sent such kind and sweet congratulations on Instagram, we were kinda shocked by the response! I can’t wait to share more with you! Also this is a really helpful moving checklist!

Dear Kirsti: I just read with excitement your post about your new home in Norfolk – congratulations!! I have never been to England so am not at all familiar with the housing styles, but I absolutely love your new home shown with you in front. Especially love the front door with stained glass window above. Good luck with all the necessary renovations, and I look forward to reading your posts on how things progress.

    Best wishes,
