AMAZING Interiors: George & Heart, Margate
Hello friends! Today I want to show you the amazing interiors of Margates newest boutique hotel, George & Heart. It’s a vintage inspired slice of heaven and it’s based in the heart of the Old Town, at 44 King Street. On the ground floor you can hang out in the bar or eat in the restaurant (both are wonderful) and then upstairs they have six beautifully designed bedrooms, each one by different local artists, designer and makers, as well as the creators of the hotel. I’m SO excited to share this stunning hotel with you, but I promise, it’s even better in real life. So, if you are thinking of visiting Margate this Summer, you should consider staying (or eating) at the George & Heart, it’s stunning and in a brilliant location!
Amy Exton & Studio Margate
First up, you HAVE to see the Amy Exton & Studio Margate room! I LOVE this room so much, they created the most amazing bespoke round headboard and combined shades of pink, green and sea blue to make a dreamy, mermaid-y vintage slice of heaven! Also, shout out to this amazing seashell shaped basin with gold taps – Obsessed!
Poodle & Blonde
This room was created by Whinnie Williams of Poodle & Blonde and I promise, it’s even better IRL, I don’t know why but I struggled to capture the colours in this room. But it’s absolutely amazing and omg, that orange basin and rattan mirror combo! AMAZING!
Mrs Jones
Finally, I have to show you this room by stylist and designer Mrs Jones, she’s the force of nature who created Kylie’s iconic white hooded ‘Can’t get you out of my head’ dress and now this black Oriental inspired room at the George & Heart… isn’t it amazing?!
