Roja Parfums ‘Oceania’
“Deeply concerned by the vulnerability at the heart of our fragile oceans, a donation from every sale of Oceania Eau De Parfum will be made to charities dedicated to protecting our precious seas. Echoing the infinity of our oceans, this fragrance opens with a wave of invigorating freshness from Bergamot, Lime and Mandarin. Geranium and Jasmine drift in on the breeze from a nearby island, whilst Moss, Sandalwood and Orris offer a warm caress as if kissed by the sun, whose light reflects on the waves.”

Roja Parfums ‘Oceania’ Review
My friends! Today I want to share a Roja Parfums ‘Oceania’ Review with you all! I have been wearing this fragrance over the past few weeks and it’s safe to say, I’m smitten with it! However, before we get started, I wanted to admit to my preconceived notions of this fragrance; I assumed from the bottle (which is stunning BTW) it would be a fresh, light, coastal, masculine fragrance, I imagined it would smell like waves, crisp breeze and feel a little cold but fresh. I also assumed it might be a bit of a no-fragrance-fragrance. I was wrong, so wrong… let’s discuss!
Roja Parfums ‘Oceania’ is fabulous. If I had to describe it in a few words I would say it’s a fresh, citrus, luxurious slice of much needed escapism. Oceania opens with a hit of fresh, super luxe citrus accords, it’s warm, inviting, friendly and uplifting. It really wakes you up and gives you a feeling of warmth, joy and Summertime sunshine. I’ve never been to Greece, but I imagine it smells like this! At the heart of the fragrance is warm, fresh, traditional white florals of jasmine and ylang ylang, along with sweeter floral notes of violet and geranium. As for the base, it’s strong, earthy and woodsy which reminds me of driftwood, leathers and mossy, earthy accords. Whilst the top of the fragrance is fresh, bright and citrus, the base is earthy, woodsy, deep and a little dark. The base has dominant accords of woods, moss and vetiver, which suits me perfectly, as my favourite Roja fragrances all contain a heavy hit of vetiver! If I was to compare this to other fragrances in the Roja Collection, I think I would sit it alongside H, Vetiver and Elysium. It’s fresher and contains more citrus notes than H and Vetiver and and more lush, luxe and unisex than Elysium. You know I don’t like to pick favourites, but I’m tempted to say Roja Parfums ‘Oceania’ is one of my favourites from the Roja collection. It’s just a wonderfully fresh, lovely and unisex fragrance! Love it!
