Jo Malone ‘Midnight Musk & Amber’ Review
My friends! I’m back again and I’m SO excited to share the new Jo Malone London ‘Midnight Musk & Amber’ Review with you all! As you know I am a huge fan of Jo Malone and I am always excited when they release new fragrance! This is the new limited edition christmas cologne and I am so excited to get into it with you!
Jo Malone London ‘Midnight Musk & Amber’ is like fairy lights, cosy cashmere and softy falling snow outside. It’s like the afternoon before a big Christmas party, when the light starts to fade, the creamy cocktails start to flow and the fire is flickering with soft white twinkly lights working the margin as the christmas music quietly plays. It’s pretty, warm, sweet, sensual, enveloping and cosy. If you like your Jo Malone perfumes pretty and sweet, this is for you, it reminds a little of last Christmas’s White Moss & Snowdrop Cologne, with a touch of Vanilla & Anaise and there’s something about it which reminds me of Velvet Rose & Oud or Rose & Magnolia, I think it’s the warm, soft, sweet texture. In my mind, the dominant notes are amber, musk, vanilla and cashmere, there’s also a powdery-ness to it, which reminds of rose de mai, but I might be wrong! I can’t tear myself away from Pomegranate Noir for the winter months, but I know a lot of people find it too rich and dark, so if you like you Jo Malone perfumes feminine, sparkling, smooth and sweet, this one is for you!
