The BEST Jo Malone Perfumes For Brides!
My friends, today I want to share a little bit of love for Jo Malone and the best perfumes for brides, bridesmaids and brides-to-be when it’s safe to do the whole big wedding thing! Today I have chosen 10 fragrances which I think feel really uplifting, modern, traditional and above all… special! As much as I usually love dark, woodsy, green and unisex fragrances, I figured a wedding day was the perfect time to embrace the feminine and floral vibes, but if you do want to add a little zest to any of these fragrances, you could always layer them up with other fragrances from the collection to add a little zing! Anyway, Let’s get into it!

Of course, any of the above fragrances can be worn alone, but if you want to make them a little more bespoke and textured, you can always layer them up with another fragrance from the collection. You can add depth, longevity and contrast this way, or just add a little twist onto your signature scent for the day to help create a memory. For instance, I LOVE Jo Malone Red Roses, but I wear it nearly every day, so to make it a little more special for the day, I might combine it with Wild Bluebells to give it a slightly more floral woodland, vintage twist. Alternatively, I could make it a little richer and woodsier with Myrrh & Tonka, which would be perfect for a winter wedding. Alternatively, for a summer wedding, you could make it a little fresher with Lime Basil Mandarin. How To Make Your Wedding Day Perfume Last All Day
Wedding days are long and it’s important to try and make you fragrance last all day. To help with this, you can do a number of things:
- Use the accompanying fragranced Bath & Body products; Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, shower oil etc.
- Moisturise you skin after applying fragrance to ‘lock’ the scent into your skin. Bonus points if you use a fragranced JML body lotion!
- Combine two JML perfumes together to add extra depth and longevity. Especially good if you are wearing lighter or citrus based fragrances which tend to have a short life span. For instance, if you love Wood Sage & Sea Salt, you could combine it with Myrrh & Tonka to keep the salty, coastal vibes but add in some darker woodsier notes to make it last all day.

- Mist onto your hair
- Finally, if you are changing your dress for the evening party, pack your perfume in the garment bag so you can reapply!

Which Jo Malone Scent is the best?
This is SO subjective, but personally, I think the best Jo Malone Scent is Red Roses. It is wonderfully floral, a classic fragrance from the perfumery and was created many years ago by Jo Malone herself. It stands the test of time and it’s also got incredible longevity.
Who is Jo Malone owned by?
Jo Malone USED to be owned and run by Jo Malone. She sold the company in 1999 to Estee Lauder and continued working with the brand until 2006. Jo Malone now has a brand called Jo Loves.

How long does a Jo Malone Perfume last?
This really depends on the fragrance, as some accords have greater longevity than others. Citrus notes tend to lift faster where as woods, ouds and notes like tuberose have greater staying power. In my opinion, Wood Sage & Sea Salt which is a lighter, breezier, coastal inspired fragrance has less longevity than Dark Amber & Ginger Lily which is from the Cologne Intense collection and tends to last for 12 hours or more on the skin. If you want to make your fragrance last longer, combine it with the bath and body products, moisturise skin after misting and don’t rub your wrists together. You can also mist a little into your hair and onto your clothes as fibres make fragrances last longer.
