Hello friends! Today I’m back with a little Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Femme’ Review! As you might have guessed by now, I’m a HUGE fan of Roja Parfum’s and I watch their new launches with baited breathe! I was especially interested in this new Harrods Exclusive fragrance because my boyfriend has been wearing another one of the Harrods exclusives ‘H’ for YEARS and I truly think it’s one of the most beautiful mens colognes on the market. So when I heard there was a new Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Femme’ and Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Homme’ fragrance, I knew I wanted to know more! Today we will be chatting about the women’s release, but don’t worry, the mens will be coming soon!
Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Femme’ is what I would describe as a modern classic. It feels fresh, high quality and wearable, but it also has vintage throwback vibes which remind me of the fragrance classics; those heavy florals which are sadly forgotten, but no less wonderful. The fragrance enthusiasts still adore them, but for now, they have been eclipsed by the more fashionable sickly sweet fruity florals we see everywhere – yes – that’s a burn! I’m feeling sassy today!
Anyway, let’s chat about Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Femme’ because it’s truly wonderful! As you might already know, I’m a HUGE fan of rose based fragrances and the most dominant notes of this perfume is rose and tuberose, which might sound loud and intrusive, but actually, it’s much more of a soft, powdery and almost vintage rose fragrance. It has a strong Rose de Mai accord which is a much softer, velvety rose and the tuberose is beautiful, but almost translucent so it sits beautifully with the benzoin and violet notes in the fragrance. Together they are soft, rose-filled, luxurious and nostalgic. There is also hints of a vanilla bourbon, cherry, benzoin, leathers, spice, woods, ouds and resin, which gives the fragrance a deep dark base as well as a hint of freshness with the florals and bergamot; all of which are beautiful surrounding the rich, soft, sensual rose notes. Roja Parfums ‘Harrods Parfum Pour Femme’ is a soft, rich, warm, sensual, nostalgic rose-filled delight. I LOVE it!
Why Do Guys Wear Cologne To Work?
Men wear cologne to work for the same reason women do; to feel good! It lifts your mood, makes you feel confident and generally gives you a feeling of power and authority and confidence. Everyone wants to smell good and men wear cologne to work for the same reason us ladies wear perfume at home alone, we enjoy it! My boyfriend wore his Roja Fragrances every day during lockdown, because it made him feel good!
How Many Spritzes Of Cologne Should I Use?
This really depends on the wearer. If you like very subtle fragrances, then maybe only 2 spritzes, but if you like a heavier fragrance then it could be as many as 5 or 6. It also depends on the strength of the fragrance and the heaviness of the accords it contains. Personally I like quite rich fragrances which are naturally stronger (like rose, oud and amber) which tend to need less spritzes, where as softer accords like rose de mai, bergamot and soft woods may need more spritzes. Other perfume wearers like to wear less spritzes but reapply throughout the day.
How to apply cologne without spray?
Finally, if your cologne comes in a splash bottle without a spritzing nozzle, then all you need to do is put your finger over the top of the bottle, turn it upside down and apply a few drops of the cologne on the base of your neck or behind your ears.
How to put on perfume the right way?
To apply perfume the right way, mist onto your pulse points and leave to dry. Don’t rub it into your skin, this bruises the top notes and makes the fragrance lift faster. If you want your fragrance to last longer, mist a little onto your clothes, collar of your coat or into your hair. Fragrance clings better to fibres, also well moisturised skin will help ‘lock’ the fragrance into your skin.
