Omg! I Bought A Vintage Peacock Chair!
My friends! The other day I was walking down the street running some errands, when I walked past a vintage store, The Detective Agency, and spotted a rather fabulous peacock chair outside a shop. I asked the price, took a few snaps and tried to convince myself I didn’t need it! After all, I do have a pretty serious chair buying habit and I *just* didn’t need another!
I Needed It, Right?!
Anyway, I posted a photo on my Instagram stories and said I was tempted and I got a barrage of messages saying either ‘buy it!’ Or ‘your bought it, right?!’. Wrong. I hadn’t bought it and I felt like a fool! I whipped out my phone, flashed a photo of the vintage chair at my boyfriend and started my monologue explaining how amazing it was and how we needed it. He shut me down in about 20 seconds and said ‘sure! Buy it!’ And taaaaaa daaaaaaa! Here it is!
Until Further Notice…
For now I have it in our hallway, but I’m planning to put it in our Airbnb apartment as I thought it would be a really cool addition to the bedroom. But I couldn’t resist putting it in our entrance hall for the mean time because it’s so nice to be greeted by it every time I walk through the door!

Anyway, I just wanted to show you my vintage peacock chair! I’ll share it again when it’s in it’s proper home in the Airbnb, but for now… hello new chair!
