Let’s Chat About The Daisy London Flower Necklace!

My friends! Today I want to chat to you about the new Daisy London jewellery collection and most specifically, the Daisy London Flower necklace. I’ve previously chatted about the Daisy London X Estee Lalonde jewellery collection and it was such a popular post, I really wanted to follow it up with a review and discussion about the Daisy London Summer 2020 collection! Are you ready to deep dive?

Daisy London x Sustainability

One of the things I love about Daisy jewellery is that they care! They care about the designs, their customers and most importantly, sustainability! Each piece of Daisy Jewellery is made using recycled 925 sterling silver. It looks exactly the same as non-recycled sterling silver, it’s high quality and lustrous, but it’s reworking previously mined precious metals and that’s pretty cool to me!

Daisy London X Quality

I love the Daisy London quality so much! Each piece comes with a six month warranty, which is amazing as this jewellery is built to last and be worn day-in-day out and they stand by their quality with this generous warranty! The chains are nice and thick so they tend not to get tangled – I’ve had terrible experiences with 925 chains which are soooooo thin (to save money!) that they tangle within seconds and they are a nightmare to detangle! And of course, the pendants and nice and chunky too! Take my flower necklace for example. It’s on a nice chunky figaro style chain and the pendant is around 1cm wide and 2cm tall. That’s a good size pendant for a sterling silver piece of jewellery!

Daisy London Flower Necklace X Design

There are a few flower themed necklaces in the summer collection, and this one is inspired by wax stamps and pressed flowers. I can’t deny, it was hard to choose my favourite but eventually I went for this one because I love the long, tall flower motif, the vintage style figaro chain which is on a slightly longer 18” chain. And I loved the organic moulded edge of it too! I also knew it would be dreamy worn alone or layered up with other vintage necklace or Daisy London necklaces! Finally, I have the gold plated version, which is 18ct gold plate onto 925 recycled sterling silver, but if you prefer silver jewellery, this necklace is also available in silver without the plating. I can’t deny, I’m actually really tempted to buy a couple more from the collection to really add to my neck candy! It’s such a pretty collection and I love this necklace, but in true teenage fashion, I want to collect the set!

Daisy London Flower Necklace

I’m absolutely thrilled with my Daisy London Flower necklace, the design feels like an heirloom and something I can wear for years to come and even pass on. It’s wearable for every day, yet still feels special and I honestly think £99 for a 925 sterling silver necklace like this is a really fair and reasonable price, silver (and gold) prices are really high at the moment and Daisy are really fair with their pricing. I’m sure other brands would charge a lot more for a necklace this lovely and find a way to use way less silver when producing it to cut costs…. but that’s not the Daisy way. They strive to make precious jewellery which is made to last and be worn every day, season after season. I love love love my new necklace and I’m so happy to wear it alone or stacked up with others!
