Three BEST Value Chanel Bags!
Hello Friends! Today I want to share my three best value Chanel bags with you, in the hope that it will help you with your own personal Chanel shopping decisions. These three bags are all priced really fairly and they have become my most-used bags and ultimately the best value Chanel bags I own. Let’s be honest, it’s all about price per wear!
The Chanel Deauville Tote Bag
I bought my Chanel Deauville tote bag from a vintage dealer and I thought it would be a handy bag to have for the summer. I figured I would use it once in a while and it would be useful for the weekend. It was a great price and I liked the larger size of it and I had the money in my account, so I figured ‘Why Not?!’. Four years later, I realised I have used the Chanel Deauville Tote bag more than any other Chanel bag in my collection and if truth be told, it’s one of the ‘cheapest’ Chanel bags I own, just for context, I got it about 4 years ago and paid around £1,100 for it, if I remember rightly. This bag is SO useful! It fits SO much inside, it’s casual and carefree and it’s relatively lightweight which makes it really practical too. I can get everything inside from my laptop to lunch, make-up to over-night necessities. I LOVE this bag and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in buying it! Truly one of my best purchases and even if you offered to buy this off me for double what I paid for it, I would refuse! It’s brilliant! Perfect for all seasons, all occasions, quietly cool, easy to carry and I love the fact that it has a partial leather strap which makes it so comfortable on the shoulder. Truly, a secret gem of the Chanel collection. It’s hardwearing and feels really effortless and cool too. Read my full review of the Chanel Deauville bag.
Chanel Wallet On Chain (WOC)
I know a lot of people dream of the Chanel Wallet On Chain (WOC) bag but if I’m 100% honest, which is what I’m trying to be, this was never a dream bag for me. I always thought it looked too little and it would just be a bit of a pointless purchase. Like where could I wear a bag that small?! And then I bought it! lol! Actually, that’s the short version of the story, my boyfriend bought me a brooch, which I wasn’t that into, so we returned it and added some money to it and I almost bought a pair of boots, but at the last second, I went for the Chanel WOC instead and I’m SO glad I did! I wear this bag SO much! It’s perfect for throwing over my shoulder and heading to the shops, running small errands, meeting friends for coffee… anything local! I love this bag and it actually fits way more inside than you might think! Because it is a wallet on a chain, it has space for all your wallet-y type things so you can slot your cash, cards, notes in and then still have space for your phone, keys, lipstick and you are good to go! It’s not the best for a day in London, but it’s perfect for lunches, dinners, errands and everything local! Plus because it’s made of calfskin / caviar leather, it’s super hardwearing so I don’t have to worry about it as much as I do my lambskin Chanel bags. Price wise, it costs around £1,900 (I paid £1,800 for mine a year ago) but you can buy them on the preloved market for around £1,000 and honestly, it’s such a handy bag which I use all the time making it brilliant value for money, especially if you buy a preloved version, which I would really recommend. It’s also a LOT cheaper than the classic flap bag which isn’t actually that much bigger on the inside as a lot of the internal space of the classic flap is taken up with the bulky second flap and pockets. Chanel Boy Bag
Finally, the Chanel Boy Bag. Possibly my ‘coolest’ of all my Chanel bags! I LOVE this bag, it fits more inside than the Chanel WOC, it’s less formal than the Chanel flap bags, it’s comfortable to wear thanks to it’s partial leather strap and it’s relatively light weight. It is made of the super soft lambskin leather so I do have to be careful not to scrape it with my nails or jewellery, but it’s a really wonderful bag and I love using it. It’s big enough to fit a compact camera inside, as well as a small purse, phone, keys, a small amount of make up and maybe a portable phone charger too. Such an underrated bag and it’s actually not as crazy in terms of price as the flap bags too. The Boy bag is significantly cheaper than the classic flap bag AND if you were to buy it on the preloved market it tends to be cheaper again because the classic flap bag holds it’s value so much better. If you have always had a soft spot for the Chanel Boy bag and you are torn between this and the Classic flap bag, I would seriously consider the boy bag as it’s a great bag which I find myself using way more than a lot of my other bags! FIVE Money Saving Tips For Chanel Bags

♥
My friends, there is my post on the three best value Chanel bags. I’ve tried to take into account both the price and the wearability and practicality of all the bags, as well as the potential saving you will make if you buy these bags on the preloved market. I’m a great believer in cost per wear and if something is ‘cheap’ but you don’t wear it, it isn’t good value. These three bags are the best value Chanel bags in my humble opinion! I hope this post is of help, thank you so much for reading and if you have any questions, please do let me know!
