My friends! It’s been a minute since I’ve done a perfume review and so today, I am back again with a stunning perfume which I’ve already briefly spoken about, but I want to talk about in a little more detail, because ladies, it’s STUNNING! It’s by Chopard and it’s aptly named ‘LOVE’. Which is exactly how I feel about this perfume, I LOVE IT! As you might know already, I love a good rose fragrance, I’m a huge fan of perfumes like Jo Malone’s Red Roses, Miller Harris’s Rose Silence and I adore Annick Goutal’s Rose Oud. Where as the first two are fresh red roses, infused with a little freshness of blackcurrant and lemon, sometimes it’s nice to wear something a little richer, darker and smokier, like Annick Goutal’s Rose Oud or Chopard Love, which definitely fits into that darker, moodier, more mysteries category. It’s rich with roses; deep, velvety, warm, opulent roses and it’s got a twist of spice, a touch of sweet violets along with addictive vanilla, honey and tonka bean. The rich florals are added to with rich, heady orange blossom and jasmine and the base of sweet woods and earthy tones is a wonderfully mysterious base. Together, you get a wonderful mix of roses, roses and more roses, with a touch of sweet, spice and woodland magic. It’s truly wonderful and glamorous in an old Hollywood way! Chopard Love is magical!
