Sana Jardin 'Jaipur Chant' perfume review luxury sustainable upcycled flowers

Sana Jardin ‘Jaipur Chant’

“Jaipur Chant is centred on the essential oil of the tuberose flower. Tuberose is associated with love, heightened sensitivity and intense emotions. In this scent, its effects are amplified by enveloping Moroccan jasmine, narcisse and sensual musk, brightened with sparkling Italian lemon, making for an arrestingly beautiful and feminine bouquet.”

Top Notes: Italian Lemon, Sfuma Primofiore, Clove Leaf Oil

Heart Notes: Indian Tuberose Absolute, Moroccan Jasmine Absolute, French Narcisse Absolute

Base Notes: Galaxolide, Muscenone

About Sana Jardin

Sana Jardin is a socially conscious, luxury fragrance house. Their vision is to use clean and sustainable perfume as a vehicle for social impact and the economic empowerment of women. Sana Jardin is built on the principles of a circular economy – their alternative business model enables the women in our supply chain to become micro-entrepreneurs by up-cycling the waste products from perfume production into products like flower water and candles. The women can sell these products and keep 100% of the proceeds, and to give further assistance, Sana Jardin also provide business training to help them grow their businesses. You can read more about it here, it really is incredibly kind, sustainable and empowering. On top of this, they also make wonderful fragrances and they count some of the best beauty stores in the world; Liberty London, Net-a-Porter and Cult Beauty as just a few of their stockists.

Sana Jardin Discovery Set

There were three fragrances from Sana Jardin on my wishlist; Tiger By Her Side (a ‘Spicy & Arresting’ amber-based fragrance), Revolution de la Fleur (a Bloomy & Exotic ylang ylang based fragrance) and Jaipur Chant (a ‘Heady & Seductive’ tuberose-based fragrance). Thankfully, for indecisive so-and-so’s like me, they have created a Discovery Set, which includes 8 x 2ml vials of each of their fragrances and the price of the set is redeemable against your bottle of perfume, making the set basically free. Trust me, it’s well worth the purchase!

Sana Jardin ‘Jaipur Chant’ Review

As much as I adored Tiger By Her Side and Revolution de la Fleur, I couldn’t stop thinking about Jaipur Chant. I LOVE a good tuberose fragrance and quite frankly, they are few and far between; Sana Jardin have captured the magic and splendour of the tuberose, without it’s intensity which can often feel ‘too much’. Jaipur Chant is rich and wonderful, but it also has a freshness and translucency, so whilst it’s intense and heady, it is also wearable for every day.

Whilst tuberose is the dominant accord of Jaipur Chant; the heady floral is combined with a hint of fresh lemon, a touch of spicy clove and a whole host of exotic florals in full bloom under the hot, dry sun. It’s wonderfully floral and heady, with a touch of airiness and freshness with the bright citrus and solar accords. To me, Jaipur Chant feels like a very classic feminine floral, but with a modern, exhilarating twist. If you love tuberose, I think you will love this fragrance and if tuberose isn’t for you, then I urge you to try their other fragrances from the discovery set, I’m sure you will find something you love and if you do decide to treat yourself, your purchase not only supports sustainability and the women who harvest the ingredients. Brands like Sana Jardin are exactly what the world needs right now!

Sana Jardin ‘Jaipur Chant’ is out now and available from Sana Jardin directly, Liberty London, Net-a-Porter and Cult Beauty. This post contains press samples and affiliate links. All opinions are my own and you can find more of my favourite fragrances here.
