Luxury Soaps I LOVE!
I’m a long time fan of the humble soap and it makes me sad that they’ve fallen out of favour over the last few years. Sure, I love a luxe shower gel as much as the next person (Hello Molton Brown!) but I truly love a good nice bar of soap too. I’m not talking about you’re 3 bars for £1 deal at the super market, I’m talking triple milled, handmade, essential oil filled luxury soap. The kinda thing that lathers up a storm, smells like a dream and leaves you feeling clean, refreshed and smelling lovely. I’m SO glad that the humble soap is finally fashionable again and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m LOVING all the artisan and luxury soaps we are starting to see on the market. All of which are filled with shea butters and botanicals. Today my friends, we are going to chat a little more about luxury soaps I LOVE!

The Soap Co Soap
First up… Confession time! I’ve never actually tried The Soap Co soaps, I keep meaning to place an order but it just hasn’t happened yet. However, I wanted to recommend them as I LOVE what they are doing as a brand. They are natural, vegan, cruelty free, hand made and they make all their soaps in England and employ blind, disabled and disadvantage folks. If that’s not an amazing brand to support, then I don’t know what is!
Jo Malone London Soap
Jo Malone London nail everything they do and I LOVE their soaps. At around £16 each, they make a beautiful gift for yourself or a friend and they smell just as delightful as everything else they do! Plus each fragrance comes in a beautifully illustrated paper which has been especially designed inspired by the fragrance. Look out for the English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil Mandarin and Red Roses soaps. They are my fave!
L’occitane Soap
A long time fave of mine, I adore their shea butter based, fabulous scented French soaps. I have bought SO many of these in my time, both for our house, as well as for my parents; my dad always asks for a bar of L’occitane soap for christmas! Look out for the Lavender, Milk, Almond and the new Honey Harvest fragrance. All super moisturising and luxurious. If you think soaps are drying, that’s because you haven’t tried these yet!!
Soap & Glory Soap
Can you believe Soap & Glory have ONLY JUST created a collection of soaps!?!!? As you would expect, they smell pretty and pink, feel super hydrating and generally are just a fun, fabulous hydrating Soap!
Roger & Gallet Soap
Old school and stunning, these Roger & Gallet classic soaps have a vintage, Golden-Age-Of-Hollywood charm to them. There’s just something about the way the paper is folded and those rich, heavily scented, super opulent scents (the fig is my fave!). They also make stunning gift sets, which are great for both men and women. Fun fact, I gave my dad a box of these for Christmas this year and he loved them!
Yardley Lavender Soap
This year Yardley are celebrating their 250th birthday and I am attending that partyyyyy!! I am a long time fan of Yardley and whilst they have oodles of stunning fragrances and products to choose from, I think the humble, yet lovely Lavender Soap will always be a favourite of mine. Made from real English lavender, harvested right here in Kent. It’s beautifully scented, gives a lovely lather and truly, it’s a nostalgic joy. It makes me feel glamorous in an old Hollywood kinda way!
Le Couvent des Minimes Soap
Finally, Le Couvent des Minimes make a cracking soap! There’s a few different fragrances to choose from and they are all really lovely, but look out for Aqua Minimes, which is a woody citrus. Also, if you are looking for a more unisex soap, then these are a firm favourite with the men in my life, both Aqua Minimes and L’occitanes Lavender get my boyfriend’s and dad’s vote. Just so you know!

…And that’s it!!! I hope this post is of help, please don’t be scared to use soap, it won’t dry you out and if you find the right soap and spend a little more on it.. I think you’ll actually love it! I know I do!!!
I am a big fan of the Malin & Goetz soaps have you tried them yet?! They also do a good doggy shampoo! x
