Ten Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now!

Hello friends, I thought I would drop in with a quick post about all the beauty products I’m really loving right now! Some are new-ish, some are classics and all are keeping my skin, hair, body and/or soul happy this summer! Shall we discuss?

Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream

Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream

I’ve been doing a LOT of DIY lately and my hands have been shot. The only thing is, it’s so hot and sweaty I’m finding my regular super thick hand creams are too heavy for my sweaty palms, but a body lotion is too light to hydrate my skin. However, I’m finding Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream pretty close to perfect, it’s light, super hydrating and really fast absorbing. Plus it smells lovely, it’s super affordable (£1.99 right now from Superdrug!!!) and apparently it’s good for my ageing skin!

Isle of Paradise Self Tan Water & Drops with Colour Corrector

Isle of Paradise Self Tan Water & Drops with Colour Corrector

I’m always a little scared of false tan because I’m so pale that it often sits badly on my skin and often just makes me look orange / dirty, but Isle of Paradise is a really lovely colour, even for us pale girls and it’s vegan and nasty free too. Plus it comes to you via the amazing Jules Von Hep who is human sunshine, a tan-expert and every celebrities favourite tanner because he is such a joy to be around. His brand is lovely and I love the body positivity messages he brings to his brand and I’m honestly just so proud of him! And in case you haven’t guessed, Isle of Paradise is worth the hype!

Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint

Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint

I’ve been using and loving this Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint for a while now and it’s become even more essential now that it’s Summer. It’s lightweight, super hydrating, gives a pop of colour and generally just a lovely summer lipstick / lipbalm / lip tiny hybrid.  I can’t recommend it enough! I have shade Bare Raspberry and I adore it!

Angela Flander 'Rose' Perfume

Angela Flanders ‘Rose’ Perfume

A few weeks ago I fell in love with the Angela Flanders Rose Living Mist and I DM’ed them on Insta to ask if they have a perfume in the same fragrance. They generously offered to make me one and a few weeks later, it popped through my litter box and honestly, I’m obsessed! It was such a kind gesture and it’s such a wonderful perfume. It’s filled with notes of rose and violets and it’s wonderfully pastel hued with a nod to dried flowers and days gone by. It’s really quite magical! Thank you so much to team Angela Flanders! You can buy the Rose Living Mist here.

Lancome 'Le French Glow'

Molton Brown ‘Pink Pepper’ Body Oil

I’m a long time fan of Molton Brown products and their latest release is a collection of body oils. Fans of the brand will know they’ve created the off few body oils in the past, but this is the first time they’ve created a collection of them. My favourite has to be Pink Pepper Body Oil, it’s uplifting and blends really well with most of my perfumes too. Also, whenever my boyfriend and I are plagued with headaches, we often give each other a shoulder rub to help relieve the pain and get things moving and this is a really nice unisex fragrance we can both enjoy! PS. yes, I know how un-romantic that is, but if you suffer with headaches, you’ll understand!

Dermalogica After Sun

Dermalogica After Sun

OK, so I’m usually SUPER CAREFUL with my skin in the sun, but the other day I got ‘caught short’. I went for the morning dog walk, nice and early and the next thing I knew I was sunburnt at 10am in the morning! No Joke! I didn’t even know the UK sun was powerful enough at 10am to burn my skin! Anyway, lesson learnt and Dermalogica After Sun Repair applied. It’s honestly the best aftersun ever, it’s like a serum consistency, soaks in super fast, cooling, soothing, hydrating and no matter how hot and bothered you feel, it won’t make your skin feel sweaty or clammy. It’s pure relief! PS. I can’t seem to find this product on the website, I hope it’s not discontinued?! Mines left over from last summer!

Soap & Glory 'Split Happens' Hair Oil

Soap & Glory ‘Split Happens’ Hair Oil

I think Soap & Glory ‘Split Happens’ Hair Oil might be the best hair oil I’ve ever used! It smells delightful (as you would expect from S&G) and it leaves my hair super smooth and hydrated and never ever greasy. I’m always a little nervous of hair oils making my hair greasy, as we’ve all applied too much and it’s backfired on us! But this one is perfect and I can’t say enough good things about it! Oh and at £7.50 it’s super affordable too, although do keep an eye out for those juicy 3 for 2 deals at boots!

IT Cosmetics CC Cream (Now In XL Size!)

IT Cosmetics CC Cream (Now In XL Size!)

I’m a HUGE fan of IT Cosmetics CC Cream. It’s honestly one of the best foundations ever created and I recommend it to friends, readers, family and everyone I can. I love it! It’s forever my benchmark for judging foundation, I think it’s brilliant and in case you were wondering, it’s worth every penny! Anyway, It’s now available in an XL size (75ml) and that makes me very happy! It’s exclusive to QVC and it’s a must-have product!

Simple Skincare Pouches

Simple Skincare Pouches

‘Sustainability’ is a word on everyones lips right now and as we are all trying our hardest to cut down our use of plastics and waste, I think one of the most impressive packaging changes has to be these Simple Skincare Pouches. Each one contains 50ml of product and they use 82% less plastic than their usual 50ml products. They are perfect for travel, cute on the bathroom shelf and you can squeeze every last drop out of them too. I’m honestly so impressed with them and I’m hoping more brands follow suit by repackaging products in this way. Also, shout out to Simple Skincare in general for making such affordable and skin-happy products. As much as I love super luxe skincare, Simple is a brand I’ve used on and off for longer than I can remember because their products are exactly what they claim to be; Simple, effective and kind-to-skin.

Lancome 'Le French Glow'

Lancome ‘Le French Glow’

Finally, one of the prettiest palettes I’ve seen in a sweet time! The gorgeous Lancome ‘Le French Glow’. It’s a stunning Breton-stripe inspired packaging and inside is a silky soft formula of bronzer and highlighter. Non-shimmer and designed and blend together to give a natural, even, Parisian-inspired glow. It’s SO nice!!! Also, speaking of Lancome, I’ve also been loving their Juicy Shaker Glosses recently too, which are somewhere between a lip oil and a lip stain!

Ta da!!! And there we have it, the products I’m most loving right now, I’m so excited about all these products and I hope you like them too! Let me know your favourites in the comments! Also, some products have been gifted and some links are affiliate.

I love that you and your bf give each other shoulder rubs when you have headaches! I think that’s super romantic! Romance can be about the little things, not just big gestures:)

Aw thank you! Honestly it really helps to get things moving and relieve the pain! We went through a whole bottle of molton brown body oil purely when we had headaches, so this is a replacement! Fun fact: when we massage each other’s heads / shoulders / necks we usually put ‘spa music’ on YouTube and play it out of our phones whilst during! It’s like a diy spa?
