Daisy X Estée Lalonde
Hello friends, I just wanted to stop by and show you a few snaps I took of the Daisy X Estée Lalonde jewellery collection. As soon as this collection launched, I was an instant fan, I mean, just look at it!! It’s everything I want from a piece of jewellery, it’s made from recycled sterling silver with longer length chains, it’s beautifully crafted with a chunky feel, it’s very tactile and whilst it feels modern, it also takes heavy inspiration from the 70’s. I was kindly gifted two necklaces and honestly, I love them so much, I’m thinking of adding a ring or two into my collection too!
Inspiration…
Inspired by Estée’s upbeat attitude to life and the notion of coming back to yourself, each piece has been designed with protection, positivity and presence in mind; jewellery that is more than just decorative, but also protective. I partially love the shield necklace, sometimes we all need a little armour. When Estee was asked for one word to sum up the collection, she chose the word ‘Radiance‘, because not only does the collection feature so many sunbursts, but she wants to remind people of their inner radiance. How To Style…
The collection has a real ‘cool girl vibe’. It’s slightly rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s also really soft and pretty. It can be dressed up or down and it’s just as appropriate for the office as it is a festival and just as cute worn a piece at a time, or layered up for an edgier look. Personally, I like the pieces layered up and I like to wear it all with a floral midi dress, but you know me… everything is best worn with a floral midi dress!! However if you’re a skinny jeans, white shirt and Birkin kinda girl, you know that sunburst necklace is gonna pop and make your look a whole lot more fabulous! You can really feel the personality and a story behind this jewellery collection, like modern heirlooms.
My Favourites…
It’s SO hard to choose favourites, but I have to say, I LOVE the Sunburst Shield necklace, that was a no-brainer for me! I absolutely love it, the longer length chain, the proportions, the shape of the pendant and the way the texture reflects the light. It’s stunning! I also love the T-bar necklace, it’s a great one for layering and also I love the subtle sunburst detailing on the bar, it just adds that ‘something something’. I also love the Rising sun frame necklace, although it’s currently out of stock, so I’m hoping more will be made. I also love the Sunburst shield ring and the t-bar bracelet, as well as the octagonal pieces. Urgh! I love it all!
