The Rose, Deal
Hello friends, I’m going to do my best to not make this post *too* long, but to be honest, it’s going to be a challenge, because The Rose, Deal, Kent is SO beautiful, I quite literally could not stop snapping! Every single corner was filled with joy. From the beautiful food, the rustic terrace, the stunning bathrooms and the beautiful bedrooms. I loved every. single. thing! Also, before we start, I want to make a full disclaimer, I haven’t stayed at The Rose Hotel overnight, only because I live so close it’s not really justifiable, however, I have been for lunch and I had a good poke around lots of the rooms as the owners had a spare few minutes and were kind enough to give me a quick tour. It was pure eye-candy and I’m hoping my quick snapshots are enough to do it justice! Also, if I start tweeting that I want to redecorate my entire house, you know who to blame. Every room was perfection and I want my entire house to look like this now! It’s also given me some serious inspo for vintage pieces I want to look out for at my local thrift stores, as well as up-cycling projects I want to attempt. Just look through the photos, there’s so many beautiful pieces in every single room, I’m truly smitten!
What You Need To Know…
The Rose Hotel is in Deal, Kent, which you can get to via the high speed train from St Pancras International, London. There’s also plenty of parking in the area if you fancy driving down. The rooms start at £100 per night, which is super reasonable and they have a few dog friendly rooms too. Each room is different, so if you spy a room you particularly fancy, you should request it when booking. And the food in the restaurant is DELICIOUS! In the surrounding area, you’ll find lots of beautiful independent boutiques (like Hoxton Store) and cafes. It’s also a super short walk from the beautiful Middle Street which is the most picturesque road of colourful fisherman cottages. One road further along and you’ll find the seafront which is also wonderful. Deal is pretty, peaceful and the perfect weekend getaway. I can’t imagine anything nicer than escaping London for a weekend at The Rose… if I didn’t live in driving distance, I’d be booking myself a trip pronto!
A huge thank you to The Rose Hotel for the tour, I’m so happy I was able to show you so many of their beautiful rooms!
