Let’s Talk About The Coach Top Handle Parker Bag
Hello friends, I’m back again and this time I’m talk about the CoachTop Handle Parker handbag. I’ve already chatted about the classic Parker bag, but this season they have released a top handle version which I thinkI actually prefer to the original. I mean, there’s just something about it which feel really chic and elegant. Plus with the multiple ways to wear, it’s a really handy handbag to have in your wardrobe! In this post, we’re going to chat how to style it, quality, price and so much more… y’all ready for this!?
According To Coach…
“Structured and lightweight, the Parker is a versatile bag that combines uptown elegance with downtown ease. Crafted in refined leather, the latest addition to the Parker family has a feminine top handle and an elegant new shape. Finished with a Signature turnlock closure, carry it by the hand or wear it as a crossbody and prepare to be noticed.”
Three Ways To Wear
The CoachParker Top Handle bag can be worn in three ways; firstly as a top handle handbag, either with the shoulder strap removed or with it hanging loosely down for a more casual feel. This handbag also comes with a long, adjustable shoulder strap which can be worn over the shoulder, or as a crossbody bag. Thanks to the adjustable strap, it works both ways! Also, I feel like I should apologise here for shooting the bag without the long shoulder strap.
How To Style
This bag is a real classic and it can be worn with everything from a vintage style midi dress to a smart pair of jeans and a fierce blazer. I can imagine it looking super cute with a skirt suit for a cute work look too. The black leather Parker is more formal, the colours and monogrammed canvas bags have more of a smart-casual feel, but either way, this structured bag is both smart, chic and wearable for pretty much every day time look. Would I wear it in on a night out? Probably not. Is it suitable for a festival? Hell no, but everything else, it’s perfect for!
Monogram It
The Coach Top Handle Parker handbag can be monogrammed! Yep! That’s right, personalised with your very own monogram! And the best part is, the monogram is on the Coach luggage tag, which is the perfect place if you ask me! Personally, I am always a little nervous about emblazoning my initials across the front of my handbags, I’m not sure how it’s going to date and what if I finally get married?! It basically renders the bag redundant! The Coach luggage tag is removable so if you do tire of the monogram, or change your name, you can whip it off! Choose up to three letters (or symbols) add periods (or full stops for us brits!) and the charge… free!
Personalise It
If you are big into personalising your bags with scarves, twilly’s and bag charms, then this is the perfect bag for that! You can wrap a twilly scarf around the top handle strap and hang bag charms off the D-ring between the handle and the main part of the bag. Also, a the side of the bag, where the luggage tag is attached, there’s plenty of space to add extra keyrings and bag charms here too!
Designs & Colour Options
The Coach Parker Top Handle handbag is still a fairly new style, so right now, there is only a limited selection of colours and designs that the Top Handle Parker is available in. One can only hope this extends in the future, but similarly, it could just be a really limited bag design. Personally, I love the white quilted style for summer, as well as the simple black design (it’s so chic!) but of course, my favourite is the monogrammed one, I think it perfect for summer and winter and it has a bit of a vintage twist, which I love! If you love the Parker styling, but you want a slightly different silhouette, you should consider the Parker Shoulder bag or backpack. Both are fabulous!
Price
The price of the Coach Top Handle Parker varies depending on the intricate stitching, quilting and embellishments. The simplest of which is £350 and the more elaborate of which are around £495. Plus, you never know, you might get lucky in the sale later this summer / winter! Oh and quality wise, you get a lot of bag for your buck with this bag! It’s stunning quality!
Quality
Speaking of the quality, let’s deep dive into this a little more! So, the leather is soft, yet refined, which means you get all the soft smoothness of luxe, but also you don’t have to baby your handbag. The stitching is perfection with really lovely nods to equestrian heritage which Coach continues to draw inspiration from. Every single part of the finish is flawless, from the perfectly spaced rivets, to the lining and even the way the Coach ‘C’s on the monogrammed canvas are lined up. Flawless! With Coach, the quality is always spot on, especially over the past few years since Stuart Vevers took over as Creative Director. He’s done amazing things for the brand, both in terms of design and quality, I’m pretty sure it’s only going to get better too!
And Finally…
So, my friends, that’s kind of it! I love the classic Parker shoulder bag, but there’s something about this top handle Parker which is really special. It’s really chic and kinda boujee, but it’s also very cool. I can imagine Blair Waldorf wearing this Coach bag on the Met Steps and that can only be a good thing! In general, I love the quality of Coach bags, the leather is always beautiful and the finish of every single detail is always amazing. In fact, I would go as far as saying I’ve seen other designer bags for double the price which are half the quality. If you are thinking of investing in a Coach handbag this season, I would look out for Coach Parker bag, either the shoulder or the top handle bag, although I personally prefer the top handle version. I’m also a huge fan of the Rogue, because it’s just a really perfect tote bag! Please feel free to ask me any questions, I’m always happy to help when it comes to handbag decisions! These things need to be carefully considered!
Have to say Coach was never a brand I’d looked at before seeing how much a fan you are. You should be an ambassador!
Haha! The dream right? Xxx
It’s such a beauty – I love the white quilted version.
Hi! It’s a real dream isn’t it? Thank you for stopping by! xxxx
