Hello friends, today I want to chat all about the new Molton Brown ‘Geranium Nefertum’ collection. This collection isn’t out for a few days yet, but the kind folks at Molton Brown were generous enough to send me the samples ahead of the launch, so you know all about it before it hits the shelves! Regular readers (all five of you!) will know I’m a long time fan of Molton Brown and it’s rare that my boyfriend and I don’t have a bottle in the bathroom, we love it! Black Peppercorn, Rosa Absolute and Russian Leather are a few of my favourites, but I also have a real soft spot for the more summery fragrances like Orange & Bergamot and Vetiver & Grapefruit. But to be fair… I’ve never met a Molton Brown fragrance I don’t love, the only one that doesn’t really thrill me is Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel, not because it’s not lovely, but more because it’s a little subtle for me. Anyhoo, let’s discuss the new fragrance, shall we?
Molton Brown ‘Geranium Nefertum’ Collection is everything I love about Molton Brown. It’s potent and exciting, rich, slightly-masculine and really fresh. It also contains heavy notes of one of my favourite accords ever – Summer, milky, fresh green Fig!
This fragrance opens with a burst of warm, ripe, sunshine filled green figs and fig leaves with a hint of smoky citrus bergamot. It has a subtle heart of jasmine and geranium which are two of my favourite white florals (geranium is really underrated as far as I’m concerned!), on a base of woodsy and earthy Labdanum, Oakmoss, Sandalwood. It’s fresh and green for summer, but it’s also slightly smoky and woodsy which gives it a truly unisex feel. I love it, my boyfriend loves it and honestly, green fragrances make me so happy, I’m thrilled that Molton Brown have introduced this range into their collection. It’s truly lovely and I’m already enjoying bathing in the Bath & Shower Gel and I know the perfume is going to become my go-to summer scent! If you are like me and you love Molton Brown, figs and slightly masculine fragrances, then I think you’re going to love this one! It’s a summer stunner!
