Let’s Chat About The Coach Charlie Carryall Handbag

Hello friends, I thought it was about time we chat alllll about the Coach Charlie Carryall Handbag! This little cutie is the first ‘snakeskin trend’ item I’ve seen and actually thought ‘Oh I like that!’ and more importantly ‘Oh I could wear that!’. Seriously, whilst other girls might look super cool wearing red snakeskin effect skintight trousers (I’m looking at you Hannah Louise), I didn’t see it as a trend I could even consider. I thought it was one for the cool, young, fashionable girls. I was worried this 30-something chunky monkey might just end up looking like a fashion victim. But who knew it, I’m here and I’m rocking it! However, if snakeskin isn’t your thing, this handbag Coach Charlie Carryall silhouette comes in multiple colours and finishes and I’m going to chat about it ALL!

Three Ways To Wear

This bag can be worn in three different ways, using the top handles, or as a shoulder bag or a cross body bag. The long shoulder strap can be unclipped and removed if you are using the top handles, and the shoulder strap can be adjusted so it sits at the right length for you, no matter how tall or petite you are. Personally, I like to wear it using the top handles and I like the shoulder strap on and casually hanging down at the side.

Ombre

My favourite thing about this handbag has to be the ombre snakeskin. I mean, it’s cool right?! The green-to-blue-to-navy-to-purple-to-pink effect really gets me going and on top of that, the side panels, straps, luggage tag and back of the bag all follow suit. However, if ombre snakeskin isn’t your thing, then don’t worry, the Charlie Carryall comes in multiple colours, leathers and finishes. The snakeskin ombre just happens to be my favourite! It’s What Inside…

On the inside of this handbag, there is three main sections, the middle section has a zip and the two side sections are open. However, because the bag is wider at the base and tapers at the top, the two non-zip sections don’t feel ‘too open’, from a security standpoint. The middle section is perfect for your valuables and the two side sections are great for slipping in your phone, Oyster card etc. There’s also one small non-zipper tiny pocket within the back section.

Quality

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it many times again, but the quality of Coach bags is amazing. I mean, really, it’s GREAT and this bag is no exception. The stitching, the leather, the hardware, studs on the base… all perfection. Snakeskin is naturally a fairly fragile leather, so I will have to be a little more careful with this bag, but in the classic leather finishes, which most of the Charlie Carryall bags come in, you’ll be fine. Snakeskin is delicate, that’s just the way it is, but it’s still a beautifully made bag with all the finishes you would expect from a luxury handbag.

Price

The Coach Charlie Carryall ranges from £275 to to £595. The Snakeskin option you can see in this post is one of the more expensive styles, but if you are looking to spend around £300 you can get a really beautiful floral print pebble leather (which I LOVE for summer!) or this uber chic Oxblood version (perfect for work and you can get it monogrammed for free!). Seriously, find me a better luxury handbag for £300, you’ll struggle!

If the Coach Charlie Carryall Handbag isn’t for you, that’s ok! There’s plenty of other amazing coach handbags to choose from. Personally, my all time favourite Coach bag has to be the Coach Rogue. I LOVE this handbag, I have three of them and honestly, I think they are brilliant! They are the perfect tote bag and they are made from the thickest, most beautiful equestrian leather. It can’t be beaten! And just a reminder, when it comes to Coach, you Never have to think twice about the quality as honestly, it’s incredible, especially for the price!
