Hello friends!! Can you believe we are entering March… already!?! It’s crazy! This year is flying by and I’m honestly not sure what I’ve been doing! Scrolling instagram probably! Anyway, I’m back with some more monthly faves, get ready to binge some perfumes, beauty faves, podcasts and TV with me. There’s even a little furniture thrown in for good measure too!
This month I have been listening to some great podcasts; Sinisterhood (great if you like true crime, but also spooky, cult and physic stuff!), I’ve also been loving We Need To Talk About Britney (even if you don’t like Britney, it’s still a great podcast and a really fun listen!) and I am also really excited about Root To Evil which is a super new podcast all about a family who’s been living with a big secret and they are finally ready to talk. Go hit subscribe!
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I’ve been watching re-runs of Pretty Little Liars. Feel free to judge me. I’m judging myself! I’ve also started watching the Dirty John Netflix exclusive series, I loved this podcast so it has been fun watching it being turned into a TV show!
Jo Malone London ‘Blackberry & Bay’
I heard a vicious rumour that Jo Malone London Blackberry & Bay had been discontinued. Worst news ever right?! Thankfully it was a LIE and I’m SO happy! It’s such a wonderful perfume and I’ve been loving wearing it this month. It’s filled with juicy dark berries and green bay leaves and earthy woods. It’s very special and one of my very favourite Jo Malone fragrances ever! EVER!
Pixi Rose Skin Care
This month a beautiful big delivery of Pixi Beauty products dropped through my door and it made me very happy! I use the Glow Tonic religiously (it’s the BEST!) but I dip in and out of the other products depending on what I have, so it’s a joy to have some more Pixi Rose Oil Blend and Rose Flash Balm, as these are two of my favourite skin care products from the collection. FYI, the Rose Flash Balm is GREAT under foundation, especially the heavier foundations where you want a lighter moisturiser. It’s hydrating, but non-sweaty (hydration is great, that sweaty feeling is not!) and the Rose Oil is a dream for pre-bed super luxe hydration. Thank you Pixi!
My mum bought me these teacups last Christmas and I used them loads when I first got them and then put them away because I didn’t want to ruin them. I recently got them back out and I forgot how damn amazing they are!!! She did good, right?!
Benefit Roller Liner
I’m a big fan of winged eyeliner and you would think it’s easy to find ‘the perfect eyeliner’ but actually, it’s tricky. Some smudge, others are a nightmare to remove, some tips are too thick, others apply the product too finely and the liquid isn’t quite opaque enough… I mean… there’s a lot to think about with eyeliner! However, I have to say, I think the new Benefit Roller Liner is perfection. I mean, it’s amazing. It doesn’t move, it’s super easy to apply and it just works. Y’know!??!!? If you are a winged eyeliner wearer, I honestly can’t recommend it enough.
This month I did a sponsored post with Readly and honestly, I’m so impressed with how amazing it is! It’s basically Netflix for magazines and you can access so many mags including back issues. It’s so good! Plus the best part is, for one membership you can create up to 5 user profiles, so I have shared it with my family and it’s SO GOOD!
Latest In Beauty X HD Brows Box
Can we talk about the Latest In Beauty X HD Brows box?! It’s AMAZING! For £30 you get £110 of products and honestly, it’s SO GOOD!! In fact, it’s so good that I filmed a video all about it. Give it a watch and I hope you like it! Also, if you want to buy the box, just click this link and you’ll find it. PS. You might want to hurry as these boxes usually sell out pretty fast!
I did a DIY chair project and I’m super pleased with it! It’s my first DIY project in a while and it was so much fun! You can read the full post here and I hope you like it! Let me know what you think!
Saint Laurent Sunglasses
Firstly, sorry for the close up on my face, secondly, HOW AMAZING ARE THESE SUNGLASSES?!?! They are by Saint Laurent and they are the LouLou style. You can get them here from Sunglasses Shop, oh and if you use the code Fashion20 you will get 20% off everything (well, nearly everything!) on the website! Also, this jumper, I’m obsessed! It’s from BrandAlley and part of the Chinti & Parker sale. If you don’t know them, Chinti & Parker make the most beautiful knitwear with the cutest prints… EVER!
Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Liquid Lipstick
I REALLY love these, they are the brand new Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Liquid Lipsticks, they are like an awesome hybrid of a lip balm and a lipstick, super soft and balmy, but also have a mega punch of bright colour! I love them! My fave shade is Cherry Crush, which is a dreamy shade of red! I really love these, I’m really enjoying wearing them!
Goutal Hand Cream
Admittedly this Goutal hand cream is £25, so it’s a bit more of a ‘treat’ hand cream, but damnnnn it’s GOOD! It’s a beautiful quality hand cream and it smells stunning. Also, the scent lingers for hours, so much longer than any other hand cream I know, it’s really special! It smells like berries and leaves, in a good way, obvs!
Vintage Pink Chair
I think this might be one of my best ever eBay finds, I bought it a few weeks ago and it took me weeks to go and collect it because I had Bronchitis and I couldn’t face the drive. Anyway, I eventually went to pick it up because the seller was getting pretty annoyed with me (I would have been annoyed with me too!) and I’m so happy with it! It was totally worth the drive. I did spend a little while cleaning it up and reattaching the tassel trim, but it didn’t take long and it was totally worth it! Can you believe it was only £1.20?! Amazing! Oh and the underwear, that’s from Matalan, isn’t it cute?!
Elemis Aching Muscle Super Soak
For me, baths are a Winter luxury. I know some people love them all year round, but for me, they are a dark-nights-and-chilly-climates thing, rather than a hot-end-to-a-hot-day thing. Y’know? Which is why I’ve been bathing it up a storm this month, knowing that soon it will be far too warm to indulge in them. So, this is a shout out to my fave Elemis Aching Muscle Soak. It’s a bit of a Marmite product as it is really intense with it’s strong notes of eucalyptus, juniper, clove and lavender, but damn it just clears my head and soothes my muscles. It’s SO good!!! I’ve used about half a bottle this month, so I’m super happy to have a new bottle to enjoy before it gets too hot.. PS. What was that crazy heat wave the other day?!
This Coat, This Dress…
It’s been cold AF recently, so I have spent most of the month wearing joggers and/or a onesie, but when I have finally gotten dressed, I’ve been loving this Joanie Clothing dress and this Boden Coat has kept me super cosy and happy! Also, fun fact about this photo, I didn’t ask Gordon to come sit with me, he just appeared and sat down, bless him!
Soap & Glory Hair Care
This month I discovered the Soap & Glory hair care collection and I’m totally into it! I really like the exfoliating detox shampoo and the Control Sleek Smoothing Cream and the Serum. I’ve also heard the Hair Oil is amazing too, but it’s all sold out, so I’m gonna buy it as soon as it comes back into stock! Also… If you fancy watching a video about this hair care, just click here!
Cath Kidston Rainbow Handbag
Oh la la! How flippin’ cute is this Cath Kidston Rainbow Handbag?! Good ol’ Cath has some beautiful rainbow treats in store at the moment, this bag is currently sold out, but it has sold out and be restocked a fair few times recently, so do keep an eye out for it. Also, this bathmat is adorable. I have this too! It really brightens up my bathroom!
…And there we have it! My February Favourites! I hope you enjoyed! Also, some of the items in this post are press samples or have been gifted to me by the brand.
