Spring Time Fragrance Edit
Hello friends! The sun is finally shining so like the rest of the country, I’m looking towards Spring and all the delicious, juicy, fruity and colourful fragrances which come along with the changing of the season! I’ve scoured the new releases as well as past classics to find the best of the best and the fragrances I’m most excited about!
First up! One of my favourite beauty brands, L’Occitane has released a stunning perfume named simply ‘Rose‘. It’s a dreamy blend of rose, raspberry, violet, patchouli and white musk. It’s delicious, delightful and a really juicy fun twist on classic rose. Oh and it’s currently £46 because it’s a ‘discovery priced’ item! Thank me later!
Jo Malone London ‘Blackberry & Bay’
Ah! A classic Jo Malone London fragrance, Blackberry & Bay. I love this one! A simple but beautiful blend of juicy blackberries, fresh green herbaceous bay leaves and a base of warm addictive cedarwood. Even though it won’t be time to pick blackberries for a while yet, it reminds me that it soon will be. It’s such a delightfully delicious and elegant perfume! One of my top five Jo Malone London fragrances for sure!
Atelier Cologne ‘Clementine California’
Atelier Cologne Clementine California smells like sunshine! Bright, fresh and uplifting! It’s ripe juicy citrus notes with solar accords and joy baked in! It’s smells like it’s been plucked straight from the tree and it’s a great one to share with your boyfriend. Also in this 30ml size, it’s also a great travel friendly fragrance!
Clean Reserve ‘Citron Fig’
I go nuts for the scent of fig, it’s such a beautiful green and fresh fragrance which is perfect for spring, the only problem is, there’s just not enough fig-based fragrances in the world! Lucky for us, Clean Reserve Citron Fig have the creme de la creme of fig based fragrances. It’s ripe and juicy with lemon and green and milky with fig, it’s really uplifting, clean, simple and fresh. I really love it, especially for hotter days.
Jimmy Choo ‘Blossom’
The Jimmy Choo fragrances tend to be a little young and flirty for my personal taste, but I couldn’t keep Blossom out of the edit because I know it’s one which is loved by younger women around the world. It’s filled with notes of pear, bergamot, mandarin, lily, freesia and sandalwood. It’s super pretty and playful, if sweet, flirty fruity-florals are you thing, then this is for you!
Ferragamo Amo Flowerful is the latest fragrance from the uber chic Italian fashion out and I think it’s my favourite yet. It’s a beautiful blend of blackcurrant and lemon mixed with jasmine, plum blossom and peony, on a base of vanilla, woods and musk. It’s really fun and playful and the blackcurrant and lemon give it a slightly more grown up an elegant feel than a lot of other fruity-floral fragrances. It’s a joy!
Shay & blue ‘White Peaches’
Sweet, ripe white peaches are the main inspiration behind this perfume and it’s truly a delight! It’s fresh, addictive and just sweet enough to make you want to dig into a bowl of peaches and cream! I’m talking about Shay & Blue White Peaches, it’s not out until March 2019, but put this on your discovery list, it’s stunning!
Jo Loves ‘No.42 The Flower Shop’
Finally, I couldn’t finish this post without sharing the latest from the Jo Loves Paintbrush collection. It’s called Jo ‘No.42 The Flower Shop’ and it’s inspired by the flowers and greenery of persumably Jo’s favourite flower shop. It contains notes of mandarin, lily, peony, green leaves, iris and soooo much more, it’s really green, floral and fresh. It’s a dream!
…and there we have it! My Spring fragrance edit! I hope you enjoy it! Also, just so you know, this blog post contains sample fragrances sent by the brands.
