We’ve all been there. Those distant family members you don’t expect to see, the old school friend who invites you round for dinner, the neighbours who drop in with a bag full of gifts, or your child who announces another teacher who’s gift you hadn’t been prepared for. Plus everyone loves receiving a scented candle, it’s usable and luxurious, which for me, every great gift should be! Personally, I’m loving these dreamy Goutal candles, you can keep them as a set if you are feeling flush, or separate them to share as stocking fillers and token treats. 

Viktor & Rolf ‘Flowerbomb’ Perfume

Fact: Everyone loves Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb. It’s suitable for everyone from 14 year olds to 80 year olds, it seems to suit every skin type, every style and every woman. I’ve never heard anyone say ‘I don’t like Flowerbomb’, because I don’t think it’s possible to dislike it! This limited edition bottle is super pretty, it contains the same perfume we all know and love, but the bow on the front makes it a little fancier for Christmas! Thank u, next! 

Crabtree & Evelyn Shortbread

Whilst things like chutneys, mince pies and stollens can divide opinions, everyone loves a piece of shortbread. I mean, it’s essentially just a REALLY good biscuit! These Crabtree & Evelyn Shortbreads are the perfect gift for everyone this christmas (providing they aren’t vegan or gluten free or similar) plus they come in a super cute star shaped Crabtree & Evelyn tin, much fancier than a box from your local Tescos! PS. I have tried these (two tins, just to check!) and they are delicious! 

Gillette Mach 3 Razor 

Here’s one for the boys! Sure it sounds like an obvious gift, but when was the last time you dad, brother, uncle, grandad, friend, anyone actually opened a present and it contained a Gillette razor?! Probably once in the past 5 years which is why it’s actually  pretty good gift. You know these things need replacing right!? And how many men do you know are up on these kinda things?! It’s got a bit of a nostalgic charm to it, kinda like getting Lynx Africa, but a little more… y’know! PS. Not suitable for bearded hipsters.

Just a side note here, Blood Oranges is my favourite of the Shay & Blue collection, it’s absolutely stunning, so bright, natural and zesty! It’s like summer in a bottle!

I’m talking hats, scarves, gloves and the good ol’ fashioned hot water bottle! It’s winter, everyone is cold right now, so it’s both a thoughtful gift, as well as something that everyone will enjoy! Plus you can pretty much spend whatever you want on winter warmers, you can get cute fluffy socks in a box for a fiver, or you can get a super luxe cashmere scarf for over £100. It’s really up to you on what you want to spend or can afford to spend. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with a checked scarf or a Boden hot water bottle… depending on who you are shopping for!
