VQ X Joules
Hello friends! I’m back again with some very special news of a collaboration I’m super excited about! It’s the VQ X Joules Audio Tech Collection. Anyone who has followed me for more than a week will have noticed I have vintage style radios scattered all around my house (and in my Airbnb apartment!) all in different colours and prints. They are all by VQ who make the BEST vintage style radios, which not only look adorable on the outside, but are super modern on the inside! I’m talking DAB, FM and Bluetooth connectivity with super high-quality speakers which allow you to not only play the radio out of them, but will also connect up to your phone / computer so you can play your iTunes / spotify playlists out of them, as well as your podcasts. Honestly, these radios are the best, which is why I have them in pretty much every room in my house! Their latest collection is the VQ X Joules collaboration and it’s BEAUTIFUL! I have it in the Winter Camellia Border, but there is also the Cambridge Floral print. Both are classic Joules prints, it just depends which one is your favourite and which suits your home decor best! Spoiler alert! This radio is currently on offer at QVC!
Dance Every Day
I don’t know about you guys, but I LOVE to fill my house with the sound of music, audiobooks and podcasts. We don’t have a TV (and we haven’t for about 3 years now!) so all the watching we do is on our laptops and over the years, we have gone from Netflix addicts, to only watching the must-see shows or films on a special occasion. Instead, we listen to music and podcasts together. As much as I love to zone out and watch repeats of The Big Bang Theory (I mean, who doesn’t right?!) I find myself feeling so much more inspired and stimulated by podcasts and audiobooks. As for music, nothing get the heart pumping and lifts my mood like some party tunes. My favourite podcasts include Heavyweight, This American Life, Criminal, Mystery Show and We Need To Talk About Britney, and my favourite bands include Suede, Pulp, Weezer, Lana Del Rey, Hole and Elton John. When I listen to the radio, I tend to have it tuned to 6music, but generally, I listen to everything via my phone. I just connect the sound up to my VQ radio and play it out of there, as loud as I want with perfect quality audio. And for all those technophobes, I promise, connecting the two together couldn’t be quicker or easier!
Fill Your Home With Beautiful Things With Make Life Better
I find it hard keeping my home clean and tidy, plus it’s really hard to accessorise table tops and shelves if your practical items are kinda old and ugly. That’s one of the things I love most about the VQ radios, not only are they super useful, but they are also really pretty. I love the designs, especially the Monty and the Hepburn. All you need is a VQ radio, a few books and a cute candle et voila! Feeling wild? Then throw in a pot plant and you have yourself a super simple but super chic shelfie! I’ve put my VQ X Joules radio in my bedroom as it’s perfect with all the soothing blue hues we have, but I’m sure it would equally lovely in my kitchen. That’s another great thing about the VQ radios, they are perfectly portable! Want one for yourself? Head over to the VQ website (Or QVC)and choose your favourite design, alternatively, they make an amazing gift for loved ones! My dad has the wood VQ which he listens to the cricket on and my mum is desperate for the Hepburn in pink after she saw it in my airbnb!
This post has been sponsored by VQ. As always all opinions are my own and regular readers will have noticed I have had these radios scattered around my house for a few years now, I love them! Join the conversation using the #DressmyHomeVQ.
