This is always a post I look forward to sharing on my blog! It features some of my very favourite things… Jo Malone London, generosity and flowers. I am of course, talking about the annual Jo Malone London Charity candle! Every Summer the kind folks at Jo Malone London create a very special limited edition candle and all the proceeds (minus VAT) are donated to a handful of garden charities around the UK. These specially selected charities create beautiful spaces in urban areas and use therapeutic horticulture to help their visitors find peace and quiet in the short term and aid recovery in the long term. Jo Malone London are so generous to donate so much money each year to these charities and they are constantly working to help open new gardens in new locations. This summer saw the opening of the Courtyard Garden in Birmingham, to join the existing gardens in Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, London and Edinburgh.

This year’s Jo Malone London charity candle is White Lilac & Rhubarb. Fans of the brand might remember this fragrance from 2015, it’s absolutely stunning and I’m personally SO happy to see the return of it! It’s a dreamy blend of soft lilac, warm sensual rose, almond-like heliotrope and tart, delicious rhubarb. It’s quintessentially English and it’s what I think of as Classic Jo Malone London; Pure, elegant, contrasting and slightly unexpected.
