Get Ready With Me Featuring Shay & Blue Fragrances *AD*
When it comes to fragrance, I’m obsessed! I love collecting new and exciting scents (as well as the classics) and experimenting with when, where and how I wear them and if I’m feeling particularly adventurous, I might even layer or combine them. In the words of a wise woman, Miranda Hobbs, ‘It’s my thing, let it go!’. After all, there’s nothing quite like that intangible joy of spritzing on a fine fragrance and feeling like a Queen, or when you hair blows in the wind and you ask yourself ‘What’s that smell?’ and then think to yourself smugly ‘oh it’s me!’. Join me as I indulge in a little fragrance fun with Shay & Blue as I get ready for an evening out and filmed my very first ‘Get Ready With Me’ video.
Shay & Blue
I first discovered Shay & Blue a few years ago when they released the fabulous Salt Caramel, I was blown away buy the super luxe and delicious gourmand caramel fragrance which is tangy with a dash of sea salt and slightly boozy notes of rum. I soon discovered some more amazing fragrances by the niche perfumery, including favourites like Dandelion Fig, Blacks Club Leather, Blood Oranges and my personal creme de la creme of the collection; Amber Rose.
‘Amber Rose’ Extract of Parfum
When I’m getting ready for an evening out, I tend to avoid the quintessential ‘sexy night time’ perfumes as I want to wear a fragrance which reflects ‘me’ a little more. I love evening fragrances which are filled with notes of red roses and have a nod to the golden era of glamour and have more of a classic or vintage feel to them. I adore Shay & Blue Amber Rose Extract of Parfum because I love the blend of velvety May Rose with a hint of delicious and addictive dulce de leche. There’s a real creamy undertone to the caramel and the while amber leave a warm sweet exotic trail. I adore red rose perfumes and this one is particularly special because it’s so opulent and fabulous. Hopefully the video you see below captures the mood of the perfume and why I love it so much! Thank you for watching and next time you are Marylebone, make sure you pop into their beautiful boutique to try it out! It’s truly stunning, however, if you are not London based, you will be able to find Shay & Blue at John Lewis, M&S Beauty and Harvey Nichols, as well as online at shayandblue.com.

You’re a real pro in that video! Rushed to the M&S website, but they don’t do this particular fragrance – and don’t do beauty on the Spanish website 🙁 Off to do some research on the ones available in case they have them in Gibraltar…
Oh you are so kind! Thank you!!!!!
I’m sorry to hear they don’t do beauty on the M&as website but I know that shay & blue do have international stockists, so please do check their websites too!! Xxxxx
