It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of rose based fragrances, but most of my favourites come with a hefty price tag attached, mainly because the best roses come with a hefty price tag (usually around £100+ for a 100ml bottle) and it takes a hell of a lot of roses (and work) to extract those precious oils. It’s for this reason I wanted to share a few thoughts on this new fragrance by Philosophy; Amazing Grace Ballet Rose. It’s a beautiful blend of dreamy roses along with notes of lychee, peony and pink musk. It’s inspired by the quiet strength of a ballerina and all the grace, glamour, hard-work, history and beauty which comes with the coveted role. It’s filled with beautiful dusty pink notes and whilst it’s gloriously rose-based, there’s also really pretty notes of sweet lychee, peony, woods and musk which help soften the rose and add a really pretty and lively feel to the fragrance. Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose is the perfect rose fragrance for anyone who loves roses but wants a fragrance with a little more sparkle!

Philosophy Amazing Grace Ballet Rose is priced at £33 for a 60ml bottle and is available from Boots, QVC and John Lewis. Also, I don’t want to dwell on the price too much, but honestly, if you had told me this perfume was double the price, I would have believed you. It smells so good and I honestly can’t think of a fragrance in this price bracket which feels so elegant and delightful!
